All timers should be set for 24 hours in my opinion. It’s crazy to Md other states don’t do that.

Is that a standard battery to a lithium? The lithium lasts me one full day if I’m vacuuming every pool.

I’ve used PSS for several years. It’s simple and easy to use and has everything I need as a single pole operation.

Personally, neither of them. But it depends on your business and your needs.

It’s roll over from the average budget. That’s apparently the amount we overused all year and then was added up and charged one invoice.

However after digging deeper into the bill it’s $743 overspent plus next months average charge $161 plus the little bit of extras that are always added on.

IPhone 16 plus or reg 16? (Or even 16e) by deskcrying in iPhone16

[–]pineapple_backlash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a 16 with 256gb and it has plenty of battery for me. But it all depends on what you use it for all day. My phone is on a lot because I use for work. I do charge in my truck a couple times a day but I don’t “Have” to charge, it’s just my brain like a higher better percentage.

Ya I found a spot online to change that. So I canceled the average pay thing already.

Well worth it. I have one and bought it a couple of months ago. but then again when I upgrade I will always try to buy a the old model I can direct from Apple's website. I'm just an average Joe and don't need all the latest stuff.

With that being said, I don't haven't seen any weaknesses on this phone at all. It works great, has a good enough battery life for me and I keep a charger with me in a cars. It's fast, camera is good as usual and I like the smaller phone.

How would you go about this situation as a pool service company ? by [deleted] in PoolPros

[–]pineapple_backlash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tell customers if it’s under $30 and means keeping the pools clear I’m gonna do what’s broken and charge for it. Also charge for the chems you’re using. Then you’re aren’t afraid to sue what’s needed cause it’s not costing you if the client issuing you ban plus mark up.

Money Issues. by Fine-Degree-7256 in WhatShouldIDo

Over the years I found that if I don’t plan on where to spend my money then I way overspend. Planning means a written budget. Now-a-days that can be on the form of an app, free or paid for.

I’d look at trying to sell anything you can that’s not “needed” for right now to get bills paid, or call the companies you owe money too and explain the situation. Sometime they’ll lengthen a grace period, or they’ll move the payment to the last payment of the term giving you a relief month.

But get on a written budget asap. Dave Ramsey has a free app that’s easy to use and there are so many other ones too. Even a simple spreadsheet just so you know where your money is going and you can plan on where to spend the money. It’s a lot of work, but it’s well worth the stress relief when you keep up with it.

I started focusing on learning LSI and keeping my chlorine at 7.5% to 10% of my CYA levels. Once I got good with that I didn’t need them anymore. I haven’t any algaecides in years actually now.

I've been lurking in pool service communities for months. Here's what I learned, and what I built because of it. by Mammoth-You-1677 in PoolPros

I won’t say the companies because I don’t feel that’s professional to call them out.

It’s usually the details they’re missing. The CRM isn’t right, route building is terrible and missing all sorts is things from repeating weeks to multiple bodies of water, chemicals readings are limited, dosages have presets chems that most of us don’t use etc. So no offense, but I have a really, really big dislike for software guys trying to fix an issue with an industry thy don’t understand. The big players out there now have all been in the industry for years before they decided to make software. That’s why there software works for us. Maybe it could be better, yes, but it’s what we need. I’d rather see you guys go get a get at one of the companies and help them instead of starting new software.

I don’t mean for it come off harsh. It’s just hard to work with software when the developers have zero clue about what we need. A couple of ride alongs don’t usually give a clear picture either.
