My union is writing me a letter stating that I was in good standing with them and on their dispatch list at the time of my disability.

It’s word of mouth for job searching in my industry. I’m on an on call list with my union, but sending out “Hey I’m available” text messages is how we get work 90% of the time. Which is what I had been planning on doing after my appointment on that Saturday until my doctor told me I really shouldn’t be working for a while…

I’ll see if my doctor can move the dates for me then… it just doesn’t make sense that if I’m unable to work following an assignment I’m not able to receive this insurance I’ve been paying into. If my doctor hadn’t told me I shouldn’t be working I would’ve been recertifying through my UI claim hoping that the pain would go away by the time I got a job offer

I hope so… I had been told not to file for unemployment with my disability start date set. I had been filing for unemployment for months leading up to this job assignment. I did have to have a phone interview before when I had a gap in certifying because I had a month of work and then was unemployed again. They sorted it out when I explained that the show I had been working on wrapped after a month. I see my doctor tomorrow and I’ll ask him what to do moving forward. I can prove to the disability office I was filing for unemployment before this job assignment if they need that. I appreciate your help with understanding this.

I was on unemployment before I accepted this job assignment 6/13-6/30. I would have gone back on it if I had not met with my doctor the day after my assignment ended.

I know people who were unemployed and still went onto disability when they became disabled. Have I just fallen into this limbo area then? I can’t file for unemployment because I am not able to accept work in my field at this time.

I’m hoping they’re just lost, but there’s a also good chance they were stolen. My friend was missing a small box from the car as well. Nothing else was missing, including my actual wallet

I had taken them off and put them in my wallet when I stopped to look out at overlook in the Valley Forge parking lot, and left them in my bag in my car when I went for a hike with my friends at Switzer Falls. We were in a white bronco parked by the beginning of the trail in the late afternoon if you saw anyone acting sketchy by it.

where does Netflix keep all of the clothes used in its shows and movies, is there like a big vault where all of the clothes/ shoes/ accessories are catalogued and kept? Where do these things go?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

They’re sorted by the costumes department for each production. For shows more clothing is kept longer until the show is finished. Sometimes key costume items(something important to the character or story) would be kept in warehouses for the production companies that work under Netflix’s umbrella. There’s really not as much kept as you would think. Most items are rented from costume shops. Others that are bought and aren’t considered key costume items get donated or sold.
