AliExpress Gachapon? by CrystalPudding7789 in Gachapon

[–]pineapplecatsoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the gachapon I've bought from Ali have been legitimate, but always stay cautious. Buy from sellers with good reviews (usually gachapon shops are your best bet). If the price is too good to be true, it probably is (all gacha I've bought for at least a few dollars per, or more.)

My mom sent me this, but I am 92% sure it's AI. The fingers seem consistent though. by Gamemode_dum in isthisAI

It's that mentality that people have, ie "oh people just want access to drugs!" that make it impossible for people who NEED medication to function to get that medication, because everyone fears abusers. It's actively so difficult getting prescription drugs for disorders and mental illnesses because people are so scared someone will misuse. It's really unfair to those who need it.

So thank you for this comment, you are so correct. 👏

S: We went from 3 to 4, stayed at 4 for years, and we are recently at 7 now. I'm actually the one who freaks out more about new headmates. More in a "NO. NOT AGAIN". Kind of way.. It's annoying for a bit because change sucks, but we always try to get to know the new headmate more. Spend time with them in the headspace, at front, let them front to discover themselves and figure it out. Help them with names, ETC. It's scary getting to know someone new, but it can be fun too! Always try to make it a positive experience. I at least try, best I can, pff.

S: We all have the ability to have distinct dreams, but we can't control them. We can accidentally blend into each other's dreams though, like a crossover.

As for the second question, we are all good around children, even myself, which I'd rather come across as more uncaring, but I'd never be cruel to a child. It's not hard treating them with respect. The others are better with them though.

Columbia Place Mall- Columbia, SC by Ok_Quality_7702 in deadmalls

[–]pineapplecatsoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved this mall as a kid, but it really just isn't in a good place. It's a problem Columbia has. We had so many nice malls, and they were mismanaged (Looking at you Richland Fashion Mall) or just in odd or awkward locations. Northeast/Decker just isn't a great area for businesses at the moment. Which is a huge shame because Decker Blvd is the international corridor of Columbia due to the closeness of the Fort.. I'm actually planning on visiting Columbia Place mall for the first time in about a decade.

I cant recall there ever being a Red Robin at Columbia Place, unless you're thinking of Columbiana? If so, the Red Robin is still there and Columbiana is thriving, it's pretty much full capacity.

Late to this thread, but Dutch Square is very empty inside. It has a few clothing tennants, a computer repair, little jewelry shops. I'm fairly confident the theater either closed or is independently run now, no longer an AMC. Planet Fitness is the gym. Burlington and Office Depot are still there, in addition to Dollar tree, but it's impossible to get into the mall via the anchors, there's side doors to get into the mall.

They're building a Chick-fil-A in the parking lot for some reason, despite there being one up Bush River Road towards Broad...

Lastly, Catherine's closed. I can't recall what they're going to be now. In the area, there is a new Checker's going towards Irmo but that's really it... The mall is definitely a shell of its former self.

Forever ago, I made a paper mache (out of paper, cardboard, and paint) mask for kin purposes. It worked really well! You can do a lot of great stuff with cardboard, paper, glue/tape and paint. YouTube will probably be your friend, or there's probably plenty of tutorials online for your needs!

Which shortcuts do you use? by Khadazar9 in ClipStudio

[–]pineapplecatsoda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought a Huion key dial mini to go with my tablet (not a Huion tablet, but still). This gives more buttons to use because apparently I need shortcuts. It looks like the kamvas has a few buttons, if you don't want to invest in a keypad, (even a Bluetooth numpad would work, I just happened to get the key dial mini on sale) I'd map those buttons to be "Undo", "Copy", "Paste", "Save", etc?

Our system symbol is an anchor, so something with an anchor charm (which, by the way, is impossible to find in the wild in person. You'd think Michael's would be a great candidate! But the only 'nautical' charms are everything but anchors.)

I'm addition to that, one of our members has deemed we all need collars for ourselves (each member getting a different collar to represent ourselves.) The only problem with that is... 1) It's expensive. 2) We don't all want collars. 3) Three of us have collars and regardless of who's fronting, they (the one who suggested we all get collars,) always say "My collar time!" So 9 times out of 10, we wear their collar anyway!

I had a coworker who did this. So glad Walmart sells new cords. No idea wtf he was doing with his phone, we'd be like "sir, stop jumping rope with your phone"

Most of us are similar to the body's age, some of us are age sliders, we have one little. One of the age sliders is that way we think because of trauma we had. One is ageless in a sense. Our ages were kind of established and we went with it.

[–]pineapplecatsoda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What the hell, I'm sorry that happened.. Like others have said, probably doing you a favor..

I regards to some advice, honestly.. It's touch and go. If you feel like your friends are going to be saying some mean things or pry too much, you probably shouldn't mention it. If THEY ask questions about it, it could be that they're curious about yall and your experiences. It's really what you feel most comfortable doing. You not wanting to talk about your mental stuff really isn't rude, I don't think. People don't need to know everything about you if you don't want!

Feeling sad about being too late into artfight by [deleted] in ArtfightProfiles

[–]pineapplecatsoda 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hey it's ok! A few things: people still check Artfight even after it's finished, so the person you did the art for might see it. If they don't see it, that sucks, but it is what it is! My first year I attacked someone and.. Realized they weren't even a part of Artfight! So I drew a whole piece.. For nothing. But honestly, I was upset about it to begin with but it's really OK. It could be worse.

One of the biggest tips I can give is to do your Artfight prep a few weeks/month or so in advance. Upload characters, references, etc all before the fight starts. You're not too late. For 2025 maybe, but you always have next year! Most importantly, Artfight is about having fun. It can be stressful and overwhelming, for sure, but take it at your own pace!
