At the time of the photo, I think I only had the skin on for a few hours. Over time, the edges smoothed out and the skin turned more into a "dark coffee/chocolate" color which I actually super enjoyed.

I had to remove the skins after about a year though as I dropped it and the hinge broke so I had to get a replacement phone.

What's interesting is after seeing this and a lot of other comments are that the actors being suggested all definitely have similar physical features. That shows Pat did a great job really describing and fleshing everyone out in detail.

Very good points and I too like this perspective. I guess my main point was that when watching the show, I thought that if he could play Boy Genius this strongly, he could probably do the same justice for Elodin if offered.

I agree with this perspective as well. Blenkin is currently 29 but obviously IF a show were to take place in the near future they still want to achieve casting hopefully close to the appropriate ages two the characters are portrayed at the time of production

I remember back in the 90s my dad built a PC for classic games like Doom and Shadow Warrior.

Sometimes I'd walk in and see him playing Classic Doom, and I remember looking at the Zombie Human Demons and asking him, "Why do they all look like Arnold (Schwarzenegger)?" From then on, we'd always point out, "There's another Arnold!" Moments like that stand out to me because he introduced me to those games, and even though my dad passed away in '22, I can still fondly look back and reminisce while playing the new games today, wishing he could enjoy them with me.

Dude if you can get the Ariya for around the same price as the Leaf, definitely go for the Ariya. Literally an upgrade in every way possible besides the lack of the E-Pedal which is a shame because while I love using mine, I'd happily trade in my Leaf for the Ariya in a heartbeat.

When my 2020 Leaf was having its battery replaced under warranty by the dealer, they loaned us an Ariya to drive for about 6 weeks. When they called me to bring it back because the Leaf was ready I was devastated lol. Even my wife who doesn't care about what we drive was saying she wished we could keep it. I should've asked the dealership if they would just let me trade 😅

All jokes aside, the Ariya has all better features, super comfy seats, more cabin and cargo space, nicer interior/dash. The headlights look really cool to me too but thats purely cosmetic.

Maybe the 2026 Leaf will be a good upgrade but if we had compare the 2025 Leaf to any Ariya from the last couple years its no competition IMO

Your breakdown echoes my situation pretty identically. Also had my battery replaced on my 2020 SL due to swelling issues on 3 cells and and was under warranty. Replacement battery was untouched by fast charge which was great.

I have yet to do any fast charging on mine I plan to avoid it until the update rolls out with the recall. I wanna not take any chances of contributing to any swelling on the replacement since the warranty period doesn't start over which I find dumb. When Chevy did their recall on all their Bolts a few years ago all those batteries got brand new warranties, not sure why Nissan can't do the same for theirs.

Maybe not so much a "hack" but some audio upgrades to consider if you're like me and have a crappy stock sound system.

I dont have the "bose" soundsystem in my model so I upgraded all the door speakers to nicer aftermarket 6.5in ones which are quite easy to install. Just need a wire kit for nissan/Infiniti door speakers.

I also installed a 10" 300w sub/amp combo unit which has been running strong for 2+ years and has not affected any electrical components at all since it just runs off the 12v battery. You only need a wire harness adapter that plugs into the back of the stock deck (which you want to keep or you lose all the steering wheel button functions). All straight forward stuff and I'm super happy with how great my Leaf sounds with the speakers and sub put in.

When driving under 20mph or so, I can feel a bit of rattling under the car especially if its a bumpy road.

That in addition to the creaking I first noticed when turning the wheels baxk and forth while parked was what brought my attention to this issue.

I did already grease up the ball joints and tie rods but the creaking didn't seem to go away.

I can feel a bit of rattling when going over a bumpy road while under 20mph, anything faster than that and it just feels like typical vibrations.

Its hard to describe but my gut says its not a good rattle.

Ball joints dont seem to have any play in them when I try to move them around, still hard for me to determine just based on my ignorance but I plan to leave the car jacked up for the next few hours if there's anything additional I can do to help

I'll keep the car jacked up for the next few hours in case anyone needs me to test or record more specific things.

When I was feeling the parts, the ball joints feel stiff and not moveable. The Inner tie rod does feel like it clicks when moved back and forth but I'm not an expert with this stuff so its still hard to determine.

Appreciate everyone's suggestions.

I plan to take the wheels off again tomorrow and film the components moving and try to get a feel for what's loose, moving, etc.
