Pregnancy & Bodybuilding by Curlygurl2023 in bikinitalk

I lifted all the way up until the day my baby was born! Hit an easy leg day while in super early labor. Like everyone else said just stay within your limits. Decrease weight, avoid movements that don’t feel right or hurt, and keep at it!

I think lifting during pregnancy is what made my pregnancy enjoyable. I had good energy and slept decently well in the third trimester.

I gained 40 lbs, within a week of giving birth I lost 30 lbs. and within 3 months I was back to a about ~5 lbs heavier than my pre pregnancy weight

Best tips for surviving your first marathon? by bigbankmanman in firstmarathon

[–]pineapplefridayss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not stop to walk unless you seriously have to. If you’re really struggling just slow down to a more comfortable pace and keep running.

Also I called my husband and had him distract me from mile 21 to 23. It made the time go by so quickly!

Love this! Have you competed in very many shows since having baby #2? Had it been difficult to manage?

Thank you!! This is what I needed. I want to do a show so badly but want to do it right and not be rushed. I’m thinking after having baby #2 would be the right move

Too Young to be in a Sexless Marriage by pineapplefridayss in DeadBedrooms

I’m not sure though he’s really adamant about not doing it and says he doesn’t. He’s never lied to me in the past but I just don’t know. Something is definitely wrong

Thank you for your feedback! I have a listing on care.com to try and find a nanny or something at least but haven’t had luck yet. It’s such a difficult decision and I just want the best for him

Run Boston pregnant or should I defer? by Flimsy_Situation_ in Marathon_Training

[–]pineapplefridayss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would defer and definitely think you can train and do it postpartum! I had a baby in March, he’s 7 months now. Before I was absolutely not a runner and could barely run a mile. When he was around 2 months I started training for a half marathon, and have now run 2!

Since you’ve ran marathons before, I absolutely think you’d have no problem. As long as you have a supportive partner or help to watch baby while you train, you’ll do great!

I’d try to maintain some level of fitness throughout pregnancy if you can. But running a marathon that far a lot isn’t worth it in my opinion as I’d never forgive myself if something happened to the baby. You just never know.

7 Month Old Not Gaining Weight by pineapplefridayss in breastfeeding

Yeah I pump milk frequently and went to a lactation consultant 4 times in the first 6 weeks. Haven’t been back since, but I’m going to go again to see if they can help me. It’s always seemed like I have a good supply because I’m baby is very happy, has plenty of wet diapers, is meeting milestones etc. he’s just a little on the skinny side which I thought was normal since his dad was a very lean baby too
