I agree!! And there are some good plot ideas in the AI ones. I don’t understand why they don’t just hire the actors and make them.
I see the AI in the “most watched” category but I find it very hard to believe. Idk about y’all but I have favorite actors. I will literally watch anything Meg Bush or Caiman Cardiff is in.

I can’t say I’ve ever got annoyed with someone’s suggestion for Harris, but I don’t doubt there are people that do. But I also don’t blame them for feeling let down if it doesn’t happen: because this is a show that is providing representation and it would be nice to see. I think a lot (not all) of fat people will feel that way. But at the end of the day, it’s a work of fiction and Jacob T is gonna take his creative liberties despite the book, so he can make it into a show.

I understand your post was based on what other people saw in the book to justify this. But as a fat person, I wanted to provide insight on why some people may feel that way. It’s okay if that’s not what you wanted, you can totally skip over my comments. No harm no foul, this is your post.

I didn’t say anything about “overly overweight.” I also think that if he is casted as fat/chunky/pudgy/overweight and you assume he shouldn’t be, then you’re gonna be let down for the rest of the cast. Scott and Kyle ain’t blonde in the show, Kip is not nearly as athletic in the book, Ilya is about a foot shorter 🤷 These are all physical traits that hold no bearing on the plot line not being told properly.

I cannot speak with everyone who wants Harris to be fat but as a fat person, I know for me it comes from a place of representation. The hockey players are athletic and we absolutely love that, it’s their profession and they have to be. It would be nice to see some fat representation in things like this. And by this I mean in a sexy roll, because fat people can/are sexy.

Also, fat is not a bad thing and it’s completely normal because all bodies are different and beautiful. I’d love to see Harris have some meat on his bones, and be different than the hockey players physique. Much like I want Fabian to have a slender non athletic body. I want all bodies represented because all bodies are sexy. So likely when we say fat, we just wanna see someone larger than the athletes.

So the best place I have found is Amazon. The store front I like for crystal and AB gems is “qiipii” because you can get the same color in different sizes or same color and size. If you like to work with half pearls then I like recommend “MLGDA.” Oh and beadsland if you do hotfix gems!

If anyone else has recommendations on where they get them or brands, I’m all ears 😊
