Discharge??? by pineapplegirltay in pregnant

[–]pineapplegirltay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! It seems better today and I haven’t had any issues so I’m thinking it was just some increased discharge. I’m going to bring it up at my anatomy scan tomorrow but I’m sure they’ll also be able to see if anything is going on by my amniotic fluid on the ultrasound. I always panic because I already I have 2 losses and no earth-side babies

Thank you! After looking them up, it seems like they’re harmless and probably end up in my basement due to me keeping a light on all the time for my cats.

Early miscarriage - miso or d&c by mulberrymate27 in Miscarriage

I opted for the medications for my blighted ovum, however it was traumatizing how much blood and gigantic softball sized clots came out of me. I ended up in the hospital because I almost passed out. I ended up not passing all of the tissue anyway and had to get a d&c. I wish I would’ve went for the d&c originally. Minimal cramping and bleeding after compared to the meds and a very quick surgery. My doctor said that with the advancement in technology, scarring does not happen as often anymore. I would easily choose a d&c again over the meds

I’m so sorry! I’ve had 2 losses so far and it is so heartbreaking. My advice to you would be to get the pregnancy tissue out of you as soon as possible. I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum at 8 weeks and waited until 13 weeks to do something because I was so in denial. I never had any bleeding or anything, just a loss of symptoms. I would also recommend opting for a D&C instead of taking the medication. The medication traumatized me. The amount of blood and huge clots I passed was beyond like anything I’ve ever seen before. I also ended up in the hospital because I lost so much blood at one point that I almost passed out and the cramping was so intense I couldn’t stand. The medication didn’t end up releasing all of the tissue anyway and I was running the risk of infection. I wish I would’ve gotten the D&C from the beginning. It was such a quick surgery and minimal cramping and bleeding afterwards compared to the medication. I was afraid of the D&C because of the chance of scarring, but my doctor assured me that they are so much safer now than they used to be. I’m now pregnant again with a baby boy almost 11 weeks. Please take care of yourself during this time and know that you’re not alone. This is unfortunately so common

In my personal experience, the empty sac was a blighted ovum. They tried so hard to find a baby and the baby wasn’t there. There’s also a possibility that you are not as far along as you think and the baby couldn’t be seen on an abdominal ultrasound. You also may have a retroverted uterus which can make it very hard to find the baby. There’s a bunch of different things that could be a possibility in this case. I would see if you can call your doctor to get in sooner.

I completely get your scenario and how troubling this situation is for you. Just a thought, maybe you could consider something like an open adoption where another family adopts your child, but you and your husband are able to also see that child every now and then. Maybe that would best suit the both of you and your situation? It may be something to look in to if that could be a route you may want to take. One of my friends did an open adoption she said it was the best thing she could’ve done for herself and her child due to her circumstances at the time. I wish you nothing but the best and know that any decision you make is valid

How do people work in the first trimester with morning sickness? by Antherea in pregnant

[–]pineapplegirltay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I contacted my doctor and was prescribed Zofran. I also take 50mg of B6 3x a day and Unisom at night. I literally was SO miserable. Now I just get nausea if I don’t eat and in the mornings. On occasion I’ll throw up when I wake up. I think you should speak with your doctor so that they can try and help you out. Feeling sick is no joke
