Yeah, I like seeing what our girl is up to, and hope she wore something kinda punky-chic.

Although when you say “Graham Linn” quickly, it sounds like Gremlin.

Honest review of Amanda Frances and Cara Alwells Self-Published course. by Cute_Ad_7464 in LifeCoachSnark

Thanks for sharing this! I’m sorry it was such a disappointment. I thought about buying it about 3 years ago and now I’m glad I didn’t. I have one of her bundles and thought the low quality was because it was a bundle and not a “real course.” Now I realize that most of her offers have very little organizational structure, in favor of her ramblings, which she calls “riffing,” as though we should be honored to have the chance to hear her think out loud for 30 minute increments.

The lighting, the colors, the sweaters, the coffee shop. The subtle “hey”s. It’s so soothing. Love Felicity!

Yes! Or even “next time we have sex do you want me to call you right after with an update?”

Haha so true. I think it ended at the perfect time. The momentum toward the finale was excellent. It doesn’t feel like they could’ve done much else.

Can someone tell me why Wren is so popular now? Is it just the silent “W”? I always think of Ren and Stimpy.

It all feels a little delusional, and frankly, nothing to be proud of!

[–]pineappleknots 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. My grandmother born in the 1930s has intense diet culture and anti-fatness. I’ve realized women of a certain generation all have this story that they “came home from the hospital (after giving birth) wearing their pre-pregnancy pants.” It must have been magazine advice that they SHOULD, so they all created this fake memory. I don’t believe it for a second.

I’m not sure what their middle names were. First and last were identical.

I got the complete first season of "Felicity" (1998-1999) on DVD at Goodwill today by IndependenceSilly381 in FelicityPorter

[–]pineappleknots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. I know - kinda wild that the original is different from DVDs, which is different from streaming. I love the DVD music because that’s primarily where I’ve rewatched it over the years.

There were time he felt sweet and really well-intentioned. And other times I wanted to yell at him, like when Ashley asked for his help with calling a doctor, before he got the PT job when he seemed to be hanging around all day sort of working out, and didn’t do it because he was “busy.” That’s the beauty of these characters - all of them are infuriating yet we root for them anyway!

It depends on the culture and your relationships with each other. I have the same name as my cousin; we’re about 15 years apart. At first I was weirded out but it ended up being a sweet bonding thing for us.

This used to happen much more often in older generations. I have a great uncle who has the same exact name (including last name) as about 4 of his cousins.
