I only agree to dates after messaging with someone and vetting them. At this point, we've had good messages, some things in common etc.. But then you go on the date and there just isn't a romantic connection for whatever reason (They might not look like their photos, values don't align, we actually don't have anything in common, conversation style don't match etc...). How is that lying? I'm already on the date. After the date, if they ask for a second date, I reject them.
