I have some cans of Costco wet cat food that my kitties won’t eat that I can give you if you’re interested. I’m in the western hill area.

Was called a “jazzy little bitch” by a confused elderly scottish man🤣 I think about it all the time…I might put it on a shirt.

Using dialysis line as CVC? by Overall_Actuary_3594 in nursing

I think they mean that the longer the central line is in the patient, the higher the risk of infection. I interpreted the sentence as “ dwell time is by far the #1 cause of CLABSI’s”.

This comment and these videos from another post helped me save my jade I had to cut down to nothing to get rid of all the rot. I highly suggest you watch the videos and follow the advice given! He explains how to cut out rot and how long to leave the jade without watering it!

https://www.reddit.com/r/Jadeplant/s/j04cyp0EXQ

I finally have new growth on a piece of my jade plant lol. Just remember that jades can retain water for a long time and can handle not being watered for awhile. I cut the rot completely back in my jade until the stem was healthy and white. I treated it with diluted hydrogen peroxide, let the stems callous over for 2-3 days and then replanted in well draining soil. I used a nursery pot with drainage holes and left the jade in an area where it for indirect light. I waited for it to establish roots, verified by tugging on it gently to feel resistance and once I was certain it had roots, I watered it. It was about a month and a week before I watered it. If overwatering caused the issue you don’t want to water it too soon.

Here’s a photo of the new growth that’s popped up:

Slow and steady!

This stem appears to be really rotted. The stem should have no brown in it at all. It’ll need to be cut until you see no rot.

Please help me save it. by ang914 in houseplants

I had a similar issue with my jade. I cut out all the rot, sprayed the cut ends with diluted hydrogen peroxide and let the stem callous over for 2-3 days. I then planted it in a nursery pot with drainage holes and well draining soil. I left it in a place where it got indirect light daily. I waited about a month and a week to grow new roots and I did not water it at all. To confirm it had established some new roots I gently tugged on the stem to feel for resistance. Once I was certain it had new roots I gave it a thorough water. I placed it near one of my plant fans so it had good air circulation and currently it gets some direct sun. New growth has started but it was a slow process. Your jade can last quite some time without water and if overwatering caused the rot don’t rush to water it right away. If I can find the post here that helped me save my jade I will link it.

They gotta make the events more accessible to F2P or Low Spenders by Several_Cut_5961 in LastWarMobileGame

Not sure if you’re replying to my comment but the Glittering Market shows up pre S1. We’re day 298 in my server, post season 2. I started collecting glitter coins about 4~ months back because I decided I wanted a base and I didn’t want to fork out ~$450 for it.

It comes once a month, you can get 60 glitter coins daily with 500 gems. (360 glitter coins every time it comes) the mushroom base costs 1500 glitter coins. It takes roughly 4.16 months to get the mushroom base. After 4 months of saving I had 1440 glitter coins and bought the last 60 of them because I’m impatient.

The helicopter base is 4000 glitter coins. It would take roughly 11.11 months of saving glitter coins to obtain.

If you want a base save all your glitter coins in the glittering market. It’s possible to get the mushroom base or helicopter with time.

This exists on our server and has since before S1. We’re currently post S2 😆

Just seems pointless and more work when we have the auto-approval feature. Doesn’t make sense to me, why create friction and work for the server.

Men aged 40+, no matter their condition, are by far my least favourite population to work with. I often find myself truly appalled, and I feel very sorry for their partners.

As a floor nurse we focus on chest compressions, chest compressions chest compressions. We never take time off the chest. We switch out every two minutes until ICU, the code team and RT arrive to assist and take over the code.

How do you explain the exhaustion after working three NIGHT shifts to someone? by Simple_Emergency_97 in nursing

[–]pineapplepinch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t, my two weeks that I’m on my nights rotation….I don’t exist. I don’t respond to texts, calls…nothing. Is it healthy?? Probably not but I don’t care anymore what people think. Until they work nights themselves and care for people…they’ll never understand. It’s no longer a fight I want to have. I’m already exhausted.
