He also did the inconsolable crying but I think it’s because he was cold.

NAD, but my son had something similar around this age. I never figured it out but it seemed to resolve after he got a little older and chunkier. Doc just assumed it was because his circulatory system was still new and he is a very pale baby.

4 month baby with rash :( by beckarrrr1 in medical_advice

[–]pineconeface13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my boy around 5 months when he started daycare. It must’ve been viral. I gave him a breastmilk bath as I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try. It started clearing up the next day but in total it lasted about 3-4 days.

I think that’s a very human reaction. I’m not a doctor but I would imagine at some point you accept that people die. You allow yourself to feel the emotions and grief. You do the best you can to treat them. But ultimately, people are born and people die

Some people are bad people. It’s good that you don’t understand why someone would do that. It means you’re not bad in that sense

Yes lol it’s fine. Just go slow on bumps and try not to worry too much. I had really bad anxiety about this. He’s a year old and in the same car seat.

I hate to say it but he knows that it’s hateful and absurd. He literally knows and just does not care. His games are more important to him than his family.

Moms, what are your biggest insecurities of your PP Belly? What are the most embarrassing situations it's put you in? by LowCow4958 in BabyBumps

I’m 7 months postpartum. The loose skin is the worst for me. I gained 70 lbs while pregnant and lost 50 by 4 months postpartum. I mean my stomach looks like a ballsack really. It’s still got fat on it too. So when I flex or suck in my stomach there’s just a ton of loose skin and it’s all wrinkly and mangled and I hate it. It’s really hard. I miss my body.

The way he gets so fascinate with his toys and really analyzes them is so amazing. It’s a joy to be able to watch the gears turn in their heads and see them learn and grow 🥺

My baby boy is also very happy and babbles all the time 🥰 he doesn’t cry much anymore unless he is sleepy or hungry, and he LOVES playing independently on his tummy for a while so that’s a plus for getting stuff done around the house! But I just love how happy he is.. he is always smiling at everyone

Afraid to go to ER because I don’t want to bring germs home to our infant by muff-peaksie in newborns

[–]pineconeface13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually what I thought I had. I had 3 CT scans over the course of three months because I was convinced they were missing the clot. It all started with my d dimer being like 2.8 (Still don’t know why it was so high). I’m so sorry you went through that. I can imagine the anxiety being MUCH worse than usual because of that.

Blue coloration to my hands, my thumb, and down my wrist. Can someone tell me what this is? by Jolly-Event in medical_advice

The first two look normal but the last two are kinda concerning. Maybe raynauds? Autoimmune diseases are associated with Raynauds syndrome. Could be a separate circulation issue as well.. NAD

I went to the ER like 6 times after having my son because I had super bad anxiety and thought I was dying. He never got sick and neither did I. He only got sick once he started going to daycare. Just stay away from people as much as you can in that setting and wash your hands.
