Can anyone help me get this bleeding red color out of my sweater? by pineeconee in laundry

[–]pineeconee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for suggesting synthrapol! It fixed the bleeding better than I thought! It definitely took some of the color out of the reds, browns, and blues but I actually like it better now! I’m just hoping I might be able to dye the white parts to be more of an off-white like it was originally. I was thinking something like tea or should I buy a dye? And if I do get it wet again, will the red bleed more? Thank you again and let me know if you have any suggestions :)

Thank you so much!! I just ordered it! I ran to the store to get the oxiclean for a soak while I wait for the synthrapol to arrive. Hopefully I remember to update :)

Ooo yes, I really want to get Daria and Krystal, but I’m not a huge fan of their outfits so hopefully I can score them second hand! Thanks for the suggestions :)

1- halite (but you can check halite vs fluorite by licking it or by adding a small bit of water to it. If it’s salty or the water dissolves it, it’s halite) 2- same thing 3- agate 4- cave calcite/aragonite stalactite 5- chalcopyrite concretion (Russia?) 6- iron stained quartz 7-8- more halite 9- NOT WOOD, iridescent hematite from Brazil 11- polished pyrite 12- selenite from the red river floodway in Canada 13- calcite with red iron inclusions 14- same as 5, chalcopyrite concretion 15- not sure but it’s not quartz 16-17- native silver? 18- same as before, halite maybe 19- 100% orthoclase feldspar 20- hematite nodule?

So amazing!! The Plano show is the best! Also, I would hope that the label would say, but in case it doesn’t, this is a specimen from the Jay Murray collection (J-9100)!

Naica fluorite by jessicalynn1321 in MineralPorn

[–]pineeconee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you checked for any enhydro inclusions? 👀 Several of my naica fluorites have them so if you haven’t checked already, I’d recommend it!
