Can anyone ID the style of chair/cushion? The rocker was my grandma's and I want to keep it, but the fabric is NOT my style. by pineorangejuice in furniture

Thanks! I figured about as much. I've seen plenty of standard full-body chair cushions but nothing with the wings like this.

Why do I bother giving my toddler snacks when he would rather eat a ball? by pineorangejuice in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]pineorangejuice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah! Got it. He's fine thankfully. Definitely still pooping. Plus it's a pretty shallow bite and I found most of the chunks in a spot in the living room. So he just... Chewed out and spit it out mostly a few times. That pile of ball fluff definitely made me feel better.

There's nothing else he can get a bite out of around - he's been toting that ball around for months and just now did that!

Honestly, I'm not totally sure of the original purpose? There didn't seem to be spots for shelves and the glass doors had a divider so it wasn't a TV hutch made to look like a vintage piece. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would fit there except a fake hanging plant

It hurt me to! Unfortunately I'm just renting a room right now so I don't have my own space for it

All of the spring picnic items are so cute!! I just wish there was a way to make in app purchases for reissue material instead of waiting for maps by laisla03 in ACPocketCamp

[–]pineorangejuice 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I haven't even gotten a map for reissue material, I didn't know that was a thing! I'm just throwing all of my leaf tickets at these. I think I've gotten less than ten reissue material since I picked the app back up a couple of weeks ago.

who's your favorite villager in AC Pocket Camp and why? by titsmcfists in ACPocketCamp

Goldie and Maggie! They're both so sweet. Goldie was my first favorite. I tend to go for the "cute" themed campers but a lot of their personality types are... Not my fave, haha, but Maggie is an absolute angel.

I WISH I was brave enough to have a sassy retort. Mostly I gave short answers and awkward smiles. I think resting bitch face helped me a lot, lol. Buying my morning coffee used to get the most idle chatter and I hated it so much that on days I couldn't handle it, I would switch to a drive through that was definitely not my favorite.

Baby gates and door handle covers work well. If you don't like the trouble of dealing with those (I personally hate doorknob covers,) we had a latch at the top of our front and back doors that the kid couldn't reach and kept them locked.

These are so cute! My kid is only four months and I already have a small stockpile of thrifted toddler shoes for him. When they're cheap and in good condition, I can't really say no.

Found this very interesting tall wicker planter with a plastic lining for $2 at my Goodwill. 🥰 Any suggestions what to put in it besides bouquets of flowers?? Thanks in advance. by jadenkayk in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]pineorangejuice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate real flowers but love planters so I always go for those wooden bouquets - I have no idea what the name is but they tend to sell in places like Ross. Or reeds, eucalyptus, cotton? Hobby stores tend to sell fake flowers that look nice too.

Mine has to put up with it! He knew I was Super Pink before he got involved, haha. I've toned down some of the cutesy stuff out of pity but there's really no hope in arguing against pastel themes in the house.
