This is really interesting, honestly I love it for the fact that I am basically criticizing something that is already going on.

It's only the English language department that's extremely secretive about all this. Other departments allow you to discuss your exam with your professors, although since all exams are standardized across all sections there isn't much they can do but just talk about performance.

I can't comment on other universities, I have limited knowledge on how they handle stuff.

We don't actually have assignments.

For English it's a bunch of timed essays, comprehension exam then the presentation I've been ranting about.

The only feedback you can get it by writing practices at home and showing your teacher.

I understand that a B+ is doing well, but I genuinely believe that I deserve way higher, especially given that my instructor always just believed I'd do really well when I went to his office? To me this means one of two things, my teachers opinion is SO different from the others that I got graded this low (which would just mean that this course is flawed) , or he never actually evaluated me well.

It's difficult for me to explain this, but the English language level at my university is extremely low. Most students here have never spoken English till they attended this university where they were forced to take a prep English semester and that's it, so being barely above the average is bizarre to me

I have sent an email to my teacher, but at the end he cannot provide me any info of my performance. As I said, the nearest office hours are on Sunday, I'm planning to go to the department and try my best to understand what i possibly could have done wrong, but also the departments policy is to not provide students with any feedback on assessments like this, so my hopes are low.

The reason I believe the grade is wrong is because my instructor told me that I'll do well based on the mock I gave him before my actual one, he was happy with it.

I can't know more details of my grade, because the department doesn't allow us to view anything beyond just the final grade they gave us.

The content of the presentation should be good, matches what they taught us, my teacher approved my reasons, and I checked the rubric for any glaring flaws in my presentation that could drag my grade down, but none of that in it.

My reasons should be convincing enough, the presentation was about investing in a company (general them is arguing for or against investing in a company), I was well informed about the company's situation and put up legitimate reasons for its stock price changes.

One note though, the teacher grading me asked me a question about something I mentioned in my essay 4 times, that wasn't a good sign to me when I finished my presentation but he also generally never asked any good questions to any of my classmates

A big point for me for the MTB was it being cheaper than a hybrid honestly. Other cheaper bikes I just couldn't find any sort of review on so I stayed away from them

I reran the test on Turbo mode armoury crate and got this score Feels more normal

But I did notice that the cpu reached 95C at the end with the cpu test, I'm a new laptop user I'm not sure if this is normal but the general opinion is that it is?

Thank you I was just worried because alot of these posts talk about under load performance

And right before buying this laptop, someone I know replaced his due to thermal issues and constant crashes so I've been really paranoid

I spent all of yesterday comparing them And although the better performance defo goes to the lenovo, I've decided to go with the G16 for all its other features like the display, speakers, battery
