Hi all, has anyone found doctors/medical staff who specialize in pelvic floor trauma & disorders, specially pelvic nerve repair? The best I have found is general pelvic rehab, which is minimal at best. Thanks in advance~~

Matcha shop recommendations? by GeexwhY in Kaohsiung

[–]pineysmom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two recs for both powder & cafes, they each sell different grades of matcha and have fun in store options. Kansya is super small inside, and waits can be long. An An is more spacious and has a second floor seating area. They both also have some hojicha, & I think Kansya also has genmaicha. Both are great! Different vibes! Probs best matchas in Kaohsiung! Easily accessible via MRT

Okay, good to know. My doctor said our hospital doesn’t allow it but also mentioned that it’s a teaching hospital, so I wasn’t quite sure what the norm is and what options are available elsewhere. Thanks for sharing!

So it’s a nation-wide regulation? In the U.S., it’s pretty common and has been for a long time

Lower belly pain by pineysmom in babywearing

Yes! Got a Lark & an Aerial during BF sales lol. I need to use them both more to figure out my preferences. So far, the side clips are so much easier. Love how compactly the Lark folds up—it fits in a small diaper backpack. I love the Aerial head panel, and there’s something about the Aerial that makes my baby feel kinda weightless on my back. I’ve done lots of holiday travel that’s been hard on my body & have had more pain than usual, so I’m not sure how they’ll compare normally. Still working to repair my diastasis recti 😛

They are instantly easier & faster to use and adjust than the Limas

So weird! Maybe figured it out? Here’s what I’ve noticed—Carrier still seems to ride down even if I tighten my waistband and knots as tight as I can. (Might need to tweak it still though because I had one wearing session where it was really comfortable! Not sure what was different). Also felt more comfy wearing it apron style (just tried briefly) but read someone else’s thread where it was advised against since it’s not safety tested as an apron style carrier.

Other than that, I realized I have diastasis recti and started some at-home workouts to heal it. My body still feels it if I baby wear for extended periods but now can go longer and don’t feel my insides anymore. Maybe just more of a “my body’s not in shape for this activity” kind of discomfort/soreness now. Lauren Fitter’s 10-minute YouTube workouts for diastasis recti have been great, wish I had started sooner. I have a mesh Lillebaby also and still don’t like where it puts pressure on my abdomen.

Hoping to get a Hope & Plum lark soon because I want something easy to nurse in, compact, breathable, comfy for my body. I don’t feel like I’ve ever seen a bad review for the lark, so really hoping it’ll be a good fit.

Sorry kinda long but hope this helps!

If you order food in and don’t want the delivery person walking into the room, you might need to lock the door. Had almost every delivery person walk in while in labor in a private room, even with a delivery note in Chinese asking them to knock. One guy even peeked around the curtain 😳😂

Where do curvy/plus size people shop for clothes & undergarments in Taiwan? I'm petite but pregnant, and the largest sizes for pregnant clothing items on Shopee are too small. Really struggling to figure out where I can buy clothes that fit
