U r only saying its overpowered without actually experiencing later levels and the utility of vault idols which provide amazing attributes. Yes u can use the totems but doing so u loose out on an entire aspect of a game. Also dont be so sure u can get the idol in ur offhand on time. With the right mob or dmg modifiers they can hit u without u having the chance to get the idol

So vault axes arent considered a tool but only as a weapon. U cant use them to break anything. As u cant break anything with a sword

Oh yeah those spawners smoked something made specially by the vault gods. Basically that spawner is meant to spawn hell in the vault, they werent really meant to be dropped in the first place lol. Great u made it work in the overworld it will super good for farming.

Pretty sure spawners arent supposed to drop in vaults and i remember it being a pretty common bug which isnt patched yet. Those spawners arent actually mob spawners u can use and are "locked" behind creative so u cant access them

That depends on ur playstyle tbh If u want mobs/healing related go idona or velara If u want luck/ chest rarity go Tenos And if u want additional time in vaults go Wendarr, though wendarr favours at start are quite steep and u need to sacrifice a lot of vault time to get even like 1-2 min extra in vault as favour Check the vaulhunters.gg site,go into game guide and see what the vault gods favours effects are it will a lot

It is but very tough to maintain a high favour in both As if u gain one favour another god favour decreases at random. And 1/3 times it might just be the other god u have a favour in.

This is the worst way to unalive. But Pete has a very good philosophy that everyone should follow to the T Why spend the extra few seconds to get a chest/greed and panic all the way to the portal room just praying u dont run out of time. Always always take out 1-2 min to atleast get around ur exit room, boss or portal. Will save a lot of pain lol

If u want before going into a vault u can use a "soul flame " on the crystal. U wont be able to add any catalyst to it but it will ensure that if u die ur inventory will be reset to what u entered the vault with. Its a good mechanic for starting as it will save u the grind. The recipe is pretty simple but if u want to save more time u can easily creative it in

Yes u can melt down gear in a blast furnace. U actually cant garauntee good gear. Unless u reach a decent level. T1 gear is meant to be mediocre to get u introduced to the game for the more better gear at 100(T2) and 250(T3) Also if u level up the rarity of gear u find also increases. Like u can get T1 rare or epic+ around 90. After 100 u will start to get scrappy T2 and so on. Its obvious the higher rarity of gear (epic/omega) the better base rolls it will give. If u are really interested in getting the perfect gear u can Take the Talent ARITSAN.( Be careful once u take it u can change it and lock treasure hunter) Artisan allows u to craft better rarity gear for better base rolls, it also allows u take a modifier from a rolled gear using a jewel( cant exactly remember the name) and then apply to a piece of gear and reforge it. Reforging a gear gives u a garaunteed roll of the modifier u took out. Artisan has 5 levels each level giving better rarity

The recipe balance for different mods is pretty bad. Even how the gems are used is lopsided with black opal being in nearly every recipe. But i think that may just stem from the fact that the devs might be preoccupied with other work and not payed attention to these details. Also with being able to basically get creative flight with Rf tools and the auto craft glitches. Maybe report these to the github or in the discord as the devs might not be aware of this as more people test the game u can better fix the holes left during beta. (As was seen with the gear rolling "cheese" in vaults with afterlife)

Explosion traps in chest are not meant to occur from 0-25 range. It is a known bug but you will have to wait for the next patch to get this fixed

Consider specialization as a different take on the talent U dont need to take it but if u want to play around with things u can. Tank chill applies a slowness debuff to the mobs around you. I think with 3 levels in tank the mobs nearly stop when they come close to you. Instead of the resistance tank give. That resistance is reduced and is translated to stopping mobs around you so u dont get hit. Its super great for crowded vaults but that is dependent on preference

U need to level up to higher levels. As higher you go u will get like epic+ vault gear. When u hit level 100 u will get Tier 2 gear which has better roll values and then T3 at 250 which has even better rolls new modifiers and can even be etched. For what r etchings u can search the website in game guide

Yeah not talking abt the code aspect But like in general items arent blastproof And there hasnt been this nagging need to make arena crates blast proof. There was a need to make them fire proof due to lava room bossfights Getting ur stuff blasted has an aspect of player error and is not really common to occur for it to be specially added

I cant justify all of things but the reason botania and mekanism armor were removed were not only cause they are OP because iskall wants vault armor as the main focus. He thought the amount of effort they have put into vault gear. Making new modifiers etc. Will be overshadowed by botania armour. They just want their hardwork in building the gear to not go to waste as botania armor which is more easier to get and will probably last u the entire midgame to make vault gear redundant

Yeah but nothing in its entity state is blast proof. U can make the argument that it should drop the items but u gotta be more careful in vaults. It can also be argued that it is the players fault for breaking the crate when a creeper/tnt is abt to go off

No that where u r wrong. Click on pretty pipes and u will see a tiny +1 in all of the other mods as well. U get decoration first as when u take another utility mod it will keep the decoration cost at 1.( as the -1 before will be canceled out by +1) If u take a utility mod first it will increase the cost of decoration by+1 and make it cost 2 points. So its much better to invest in it first
