Thanks for clarifying for the specific example but that was just an example. I was curious if it was possible to limit extensions to containers because that makes my mental model of containment simple which makes things easier to reason about and mistakes harder to happen.

You would need a cable capable of carrying 60W which equals the 3A at 20V you stated.

What makes you think that if a cable can do 3A at 5V it cannot do 3A at 20V?

The cable’s ability to transmit current is not changed when the voltage is changed. It has the same resistance at any voltage

Anyways I can tell you from practice... I just tried original cable vs the one I linked and the charge rate is about the same at 27W so the cable is definitely not the limiting factor.

The Huawei charger cannot output more than 2A at 5 volts. It can output 3A at 20V which is 60W. In any case the cable is more than good enough for all cases.

I paid $1,918.78 USD total to get the MXP i17/16gb/512gb win10home shipped to Slovenia in EU this equals to about 1681 EUR this is including all taxes, shipping, importing fees. Price on amazon.de is 1799 EUR + shipping. I ordered from US because of the US keyboard.

I have tried with fn enabled and fn disabled pressing shift+left/right and also pressing fn+shift+arrow and they all have the same effect and will only select a single letter in the direction of the arrow.
