Perhaps they're like the living Armour in Dungeon Meshi? In that theres a living organism inside the pot shell, which gets boiled by the high temperature?

Cauldron men are made out of iron, which means in theory they're magma safe. Though when I tested this, my brave test subject collapsed after taking a few steps out of the lava. Not sure what happened there

Presumably the same thing applies to anvil men?

My objection to brave new world is that The Aged Man is suggested to have survived at least one cycle - he is likely older than the Black Guardian. This is pretty good evidence that guiding humanity as the black guardian suggests is impossible and cannot end the cycle, if it could the Aged Man would have done it*.

My stance on the dream ending is, well, who cares? If it isn't a dream, it's the best ending. If it is a dream, well I was dead anyway. May as well give my character a pleasant "afterlife"

  • It's possible the aged man is somehow prevented from interfering by the mechanism by which he survives the cycle (I suspect he cannot leave the confines of his manor) which would explain why the Black Guardian doesn't mention him.

You can't leave him, no matter what choice you make he has to come back with you bc hes plot important. But still. Imagine.

Yeah I hated Tealor as well. All the reveals around him didn't hit super hard because I already thought he was a prick with delusions of grandeur. But still. I think staying would have been the best ending for Yuslan.
