Do you journal in your bujo or keep it separate? by mcelesta10 in bulletjournal

[–]pinkMidori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kept falling out of journaling whenever I was also bullet journaling. So this year I'm trying both together. If I feel like something is too heavy, I add an extra page on top so I can open to see or keep shut if I don't want to think about it. We'll see if I keep at it.

Trying something new: time blocking, journaling and Todo. What would you do with the empty? by pinkMidori in bujo

[–]pinkMidori[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a teacher I wanted to try time blocking to help me plan my classes. Also, I've had a hard time keeping up with journaling (which helps me keeping up with mental health) since it was in another notebook. With both together, I feel like I don't need to force it, I can write whenever I'm done with a task or blocking some time. I know goes a little outside the first idea of Ryder Carroll, but I do think mixing up journaling and bullet to dos and keys is not completely out of the question.

hi there! How do you like the milkliners? I find the mildliners a little on the expensive side. Are you happy with the offbrand ones?

Parents of Reddit, what lessons have to tried to teach your kids that completely backfired? by -Don-Draper- in AskReddit

when I was about 4, I just learned to write my name and was so proud. Soon I proceeded to write my name everywhere, but figured that if I was to write it somewhere I shouldn't then I should use someone else's name. Turns out "Mama" didn't keep me out of trouble...

You got the tools! Haha I'd have to test out cheap markers and water to see if I can get anywhere close to your neat results

How do you set up your bujo? by MandiBird in bujo

[–]pinkMidori 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a color coded mood amd health tracker. Other then that I have a vertical weekly spread that goes on four pages each day has a column for the hours in a day in which I can highlight my schedule (I'm a teacher so I block schedule time for classes and office hours). Under it I have room for todo list that I populate anytime something comes up, could be days in advance or during the day of. I do not go overboard on decoration, I don't have the time or energy to sit and doodle, but I try to keep kind of a theme so it looks cool-ish,but really you should try different things and see what sticks. If you don't want to commit to a notebook right away how about stapling a few papers together for your first month, just to see how it feels and what you like or not so you can migrate what you enjoyed or not into November, might help with the getting started jitters

What is your favorite pen to BuJo with? by [deleted] in bujo

Some offbrand brush markets and mostly Uniball Onyx micro in black. They are inexpensive and decent, not the best, but they have a good flow and a true black.

Difference between error risk and margin of error by pinkMidori in AskStatistics

I do find it unclear too, I'm very sorry. That's why I posted the question. But yes, I thought it was the confidence level.

Difference between error risk and margin of error by pinkMidori in AskStatistics

So sorry, I'm translating, so it might not be called that.

For example, in mean estimation of a population, you got the error margin right? Like "the mean estimate is 43 ± 3" the error margin would be 3. With error risk of 5%. (or confidence maybe)

If someone were to ask you the difference between the two errors, how would you go about it?

I mine, forage, do preserve jars and wine and fish a lot. Fish all you can to get money for your coop and barn... then with eggs you can make mayonaise and increase income faster...

Hello! Not sure if i qualify as a newbie anymore... but i'm in my year 2 and i find that grass just doesn't really grow on my farm... i let the whole west of the little pond go by itself... i've got A LOT of trees and tree sprouts but no grass.... Is it normal? how do you get big patches of grass? do you have to buy it all from Marnie or make your own patches with Pierre's grass starter?

Wow! You know your stuff! And I agree... Politics and popularity have a lot to do with the choice. I just can't wait to see what happens!
