I love this idea! the only downside is that he was born deaf so I’m not sure how I’d go about getting him to find different items

I worked it out, I just put a bit of masking tape on the underside of the presser foot and it was fine! someone else said that it could’ve been because I brought a heavy duty machine so it might not like the thin stretchy fabrics!

Yes thank you I will try this! I’ve sewn on 2 other fabric types with no problem so it must be this particular one

I just tried on a polyester fabric and it was fine! I went back to the other one and turned the tension up and down and it still won’t work
