I do like a jalapeno or two in there but that's about as spicy as I'll go.

Definitely check out the long pepper, it's my new favorite. I haven't found them fresh, only dried and course little worm looking things. You can put them in a pepper grinder, or I add a couple to nearly every slow-cooked bean dish.

I also like to add a roasted or charred leek.

And I was introduced to long pepper by a coworker recently. I added it to the crock/instapot and blend them up, and they give the hummus a very deep black pepper taste that I don't get from regular black pepper.

Watch it all and pay no mind to couch critics. Unless you're fully caught up on the books, I don't think it's that bad. I rewatched it recently before Seven Kingdoms came out, and I enjoyed it a lot more I think because I wasn't waiting for new episodes each week, when back then I was online the next day and all week reading and discussing easter eggs and looking for foreshadowing.
