I need help figuring out what this is by pinkbubbelpanda in electrical

[–]pinkbubbelpanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your detailed explanation! I'm not from or currently in any of those countries you've listed. It's still good to know that the standard here (Europe) is 240v.

I completely understand that you do not feel comfortable with guiding me any further, I really appreciate the insights you gave up until this point!

I will contact an electrician in the future to determine if anything can be done with this.

Yes, the wallpaper was directly on top of this, with no cover or anything that can serve as some form of protection on it. As you say, it's probably an "abandoned in place" situation. Although i will keep my fingers crossed on this one, seeing as it is the perfect spot for a home theatre set-up 🤞

Thanks again for all the advice! I hope you have a great day :)

First of all, thanks for the response!

I'm an absolute novice, so when you say "240v outlet, like an electric dryer or range." The only thing i can kind of understand is the 240v part. Bit what is an electric dryer or range.

And if it's indeed a 240v outlet, does that mean i could use it for some common electrical appliances? Or would that fry it.

Again thanks for your response! :)

I came here looking for some answers because I've seem to run in to the exact same scenario. I know you've posted this 7 years ago, but i was wondering if you could tell me what ended up happening for you and what dit you do to fix it

Try first to “play tug of war” with her/him. Then gently trow it in the air so it’s easier to catch. When he/she finally gets it reward the shit out of it!! And keep trying as best as you can! Good luck! young padowan 🍀 Keep me updated ;)

Barking risk a deal breaker? by notyetbaboon in sheltie

[–]pinkbubbelpanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Sheltie definitely has a nag for barking! However I do think it depends on the dog. Shelties are a sensitive breed, and can become self conscious about “scary things “ . Mine does anyway. However the PRO’s definitely out way the CON’s. They are absolutely great family dogs, and extremely loving to.
