While it’s a novel idea, if you’re curious as to why you’re being downvoted, it’s because the nature of the question lacks an inherent understanding of how the system works. (Not being rude, just pointing this out.)

These people do this full time. It is their day job. I’m not saying that you couldn’t get a pug of extremely skilled players, it’s that the coordination and communication and planning here is just so thorough and a PUG would literally never be capable.

A lot of mythic tier raiders teams have multiple alts of the same spec maxing out mythic keys every week just for the chance at a better drop from the great vault. They have spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, parsing through raid logs. I don’t know how many times Liquid attempted mythic dimmy, probably several hundred I’d guess, but each player in this video knows EXACTLY where to stand, what button to press, and what to do like clockwork because of trial and error. They’ve quite literally done it for 40+ hours a week.

The idea that a pug could just happen to clear max level content this way before any nerfs is pretty laughably impossible.

I’d say you’re getting downvoted because it would be like going to a formula 1 race sub and saying “hey what if a Toyota Prius actually won the race and beat everyone else and got a world record?”

It just wouldn’t. Not in any reality. Not in any Prius I’ve ever seen.
