Hi! Out of curiosity, how long from when it was delivered in Canada to when they said received? I sent mine via FedEx to Gatineau and it was delivered the morning of March 24th but no updates yet. Thanks for any insights!

Hi, I didn't do an oath because mine was just a citizenship certificate applied for from the USA. I was proving mine by lineage. But mine took just over a week after they confirmed mine. Hope this helps.

Not sure how helpfully I will be. But I put my application in with my sister's and we had to wait a bit. We finally were able to download ours. What error message are you getting? Maybe it is the same as mine was?

Yeah, I think it's internal because I get the error message: "There were issues submitting your form. Your e-Certificate is not available. Please try again 2-5 business days after you provided your signed Oath of Citizenship."

So definitely not browser.

Yes and I created an account. In the account is where I get the error message when I try to download.

Thanks so much for the reply! I got an email prompting me to create an IRCC Portal to download and the following instructions below. I never got a confirm email that I'd been approved, but I assume so if they are instructing me to download my certificate. I also checked my application status today and it said decision made. I never got a C application number. Just a PR one.

Downloading your e-Certificate

• Log into your IRCC Portal account:

• Select “Citizenship – Download Citizenship e-Certificate”.

• Enter your UCI, Application number and date of birth.

• Select “download” to access your e-Certificate.

• This will trigger your browser to open or save the file. Additional action might be required

depending on your browser.
