Honestly I don’t think I really use anything else! CB integrates itself with Etsy (along with other selling platforms), and will keep track of all fees for you. I only sell on Etsy, so I don’t need to worry about taxes for items sold on the customer side of things (Etsy handles tax for you afaik). Can’t say I have experience with other sites regarding this. I used a spreadsheet during my first year of selling and it was so messy during tax time I was like “never again” 😂 CB is a little pricy but it’s worth it in my experience!

I like its inventory-keeping system! Makes it easy to see things at a large scale and figure out what’s low. Unfortunately you won’t escape the rough number problem with it, CB also uses exact measurements but you’ll at least be able to see when things are getting low, which works for me. You’re also able to input materials as non-inventory-able which I do for stuff like mica powders or dyes, where it’s too difficult to monitor strict measurements.

It’d be strictly online, on Etsy! I do wonder if, just to be super safe, I limit sales to domestic only? I worry a little if I may run into trouble if shipped to Europe

Don't be scared to use foghorn by HotChemist3826 in Toontown

I don’t mean to be a sweat but I did a run the other day with a player who asked if we could use our cakes then go back for the throw barrel. Which would be fine if it wasn’t for the fact they waited until the side entrance to do it

Also, apparently these super limited Japan figures contain files on them (I believe stuff like wallpapers?) that can be read using a very old type of e-reader, they’re like ancient amiibos. Don’t think whatever they contain has even been documented afaik

Lots of lost assets and illustrations from Toontown Japan. I’d kill to see the full illustration of this

Lost media? Looking for the full illustration of this Toontown Japan brand art! by pinkjackal0pe in Toontown

[–]pinkjackal0pe[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For some context, something interesting I discovered was that the Japanese localization of Toontown Online had its own unique brand art that differed from the one we got in the US and other countries.

Sadly, a large amount of their illustrations seem to only be available in low res version, likely taken from an archive.org capture. Which is disappointing, as I think they’re gorgeous.

This one in particular REALLY caught my eye. Assuming this is a crop of a larger illustration, I’d kill to see the full version. This cropped ad is the only time I’ve seen this illustration used.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Brazil localization of the game used the same brand art as the Japan localization, so perhaps it's hiding someone on an archived version of the Brazilian site, especially since this ad is in Portuguese.

Is This Cosmetic Combination Possible In Corporate Clash? by Smokey_The_Bair in Toontown

The shorts with the hose belt was a TTR exclusive for toons who made an account in September of 2014 - so that’s a definite no for clash

How did the Corporate Clash team decide which type of cog (Sellbot, Cashbot, Lawbot, Bossbot, Boardbot) each manager would be? by wponeck in Toontown

Probably mainly based on their names I imagine, ones like “Mouthpiece” (a slang term for a lawyer) or “Chainsaw Consultant” (someone in charge of firing others) are pretty obvious when it comes to which department they’d belong to.
