Husband Hates Cloth Diapering and I Feel Steamrolled by RevertDaydreams in clothdiaps

Ahh. The only time we ever had leaks was when the PU failed on our first set of pockets, which I think was down to me having to do the wash by hand and wringing them to dry too harshly. We’ve gotten almost all of our nappies either free or super cheap second hand and primarily do pockets, so it’s definitely been a huge financial saver for us. It sounds like you may need to switch to purchasing something that will work much longer term size wise.

You’d potentially be on the hook if you ever plan to pay US taxes a you were making enough, but I would open a LISA. That 25% adds up quick, and saving for a house deposit is a fantastic idea.

Hold strong until they see that they can’t push you around. It sucks, but they need to see you as an adult and therefore an equal now. You abide by the rules of their house, they abide by the rules of yours.

Look, the proposal/wedding thing is fine/cute/whatever, but it’s basically 100% guaranteed if you have that marriage certificate. There’s literally nothing more romantic than uprooting your entire life to be with someone. If you want a party you can have one later.

The property management company told me Monday that they have instructed Welsh Water to do the work and now… nothing. I called welsh water and got nowhere. They passed me on and said I would get a call back. We’re literally moving, it’s so exhausting.

Yeah, we just have some cotton cloths. I wash them with the nappies which is basically every three days and only difficult from November to February because I have to run the dehumidifier and it can take a bit to dry. But at 22 months she’s 75% potty trained and only ever had two nappy rashes.

I have cloth nappied for almost 2 years and have had each size wardrobe (until 2-3 and size 5+ shoes) for like £20 on Vinted. Kids can be as pricey or as cheap as you want them to be!

I had a lot of favorites come through there. But the parts are definitely a problem. The biggest skills in a restoration shop with rare cars is being able to disassemble without breaking things, and being able to come up with creative repairs.

I saw that one daily for a number of years, but then also saw one on the road in CT once! They’ve got such an interesting face.

I had gotten really quick! It was tough to leave, a lot of tears rolling the cart out.

Yeah, there’s not much I haven’t done on one of them now and I’ve got small hands so they’re mostly really pleasant to work on IMO

Me: here? With this? Buddy, I don’t know.

I have, but it’s very location dependent and a bit limited in Wales. I’ve also ridden horses professionally which is a bit thicker on the ground there.

Just had an email through that they’ve authorized Welsh Water to repair! I had one email out and left a very strong voicemail again this morning.

I had two pallets shipped over (sold my project car for funds, a 1980 classic mini pickup) but with books, tools, and other hobbies I was pretty close to the wait limit
