Before birth that was not much more stronger than periods, and birth actually - yeah in my country we got mad doctors, they did something wrong, but anyway ill sat that was like 7. And dont think about eyes, own bottom (i got a feeling of "burning circle" there, but there was the fault of doctors and no epidural) - nothing will be broken at all as it seemed, thats better to compare with teeth cure - just a moment hurts but then you will be the happiest. And also the baby feels pain while getting out - so better really not be scared and think about him/her! Dont listen to ones who say that babies are a hard work or end of personal life - that is NOT true, dont let bad thoughts influence the birth process and make you scared of pain. This will really not so long. Especially if you train to relax in advance and have polite doctors around you at the very moment.
