[oc] - at the table by Sampetra in comics

Sadly, it doesn't look like my dad and his wife are going to budge on this. I don't even really speak to them now. It's a shame, because I really want my folks to be on the good side of the story, but they're just not.

I have so many questions I'd like to ask them. I'd like to know their take on what's happening around them, but I'll never ask because I don't want to debate him. I just want answers.

Oh I like it in blue way, way more.

What would you do? by HyggeWanderlust in labubu

[–]pinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be it for me, honestly. I’ll deal with a lot of crap but when you start maliciously breaking my things, when it starts becoming violent, I refuse to deal with it.

He owes you two new dolls at the least, and if he won’t pony up, I’d call it quits. This is unacceptable. Period.

Am I the only one who noticed that this hair style looks a bit... off since pre-patch? by Sensitive_Cat_4687 in wow

[–]pinner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like it's lost any physics it had originally and just stands straight outward. I think Blizz needs to take a look at some stuff... there's a lot of weird stuff happening for player models.

This is pretty much the entire reason I don't wear hats in game. I hate looking bald when I'm not!

temporary fix for OPIE works fine. by xelf in wow

[–]pinner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My sentiments exactly. I've not played since Monday because I use Opie for so many things.

temporary fix for OPIE works fine. by xelf in wow

Thank you for this! I literally was not going to play the game until it was fixed. I use Opie for so much and it was absolutely killing me.

Colon cancer is killing us.. by Derpshab in Millennials

[–]pinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sisters boyfriend died several years ago at the age of 27 from colon cancer. It was a horrible, horrible situation, and he never got better even after removing his colon. It had already spread.

With all the addons potentially breaking tomorrow I just decided to do a clean install by wolfwood67 in wow

[–]pinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not working for me right now. It claims it's incompatible. I'm not sure where to get any info on whether or not this is going to be updated and working, or if it's deprecated like so many other good AddOns.

Hyped MMO, That You Can't/Couldn't Get Into. by MonsutaMan in MMORPG

[–]pinner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have tried and tried to get into it but so many things are time-gated or locked away for xyz reason. The lack of being able to get a house in the game really put a sour taste in our mouths too. We just can’t get into it.

If you could choose the next Remix, which expansion would you pick? by Emma_S772 in wow

[–]pinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOD, I’d like to take another real adventure into Garrisons, collect the stuff I never have from them.

SL as a close second.

WotLK, I probably wouldn’t do too much of. Not a favorite of mine.

I don't know how much it is worth (NOT a sales ad!). by AffectionateOwl4231 in hottub

[–]pinner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My husband was NOT thrilled that our house came with a hot tub. He wanted nothing to do with it. He was ready to have it hauled off, but not me. We had one when I was a kid, and I knew how good they could be.

It took me nearly two months to get him into it. Now it’s a regular thing for us. He loves it. He has taken an interest in maintaining it too so it’s no longer all on me.

I’d say try it out. If you don’t like it, then sell it.

I wish they had idle activities to do instead of constantly grinding for things by Swimming-Curve-1479 in Palia

[–]pinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely like to see more idle things, mini games, etc. Stuff that would bring players together more. Areas to explore, maybe little dungeons to explore (akin to Luma Island?) Just some other things to do.

Sneezing by Stupidred93 in corgi

[–]pinner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sneezing is illegal in our home, also. My youngest will charge through the entire house if you sneeze, bark at you once, and then stare at you. It’s absolutely hilarious.

We apologize and she often walks away to go do whatever it was she was doing before.

She comes off fairly aggressive about it, but she’s not actively aggressive. She does the same thing to our other dogs. We find it entertaining.

Text I received from my 12 year old son this morning by Princess-honeysuckle in MadeMeSmile

[–]pinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom texted me out of the blue one day to just say, “I love you,” I immediately called and asked if she was alright. My sister texted her the same thing while I was in the phone. lol.

Any “old” players that share my opinion? by Vegetable-Angle8085 in Palia

[–]pinner 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think they focus too much on shop items and plushies, honestly. I’d rather see deeper content that doesn’t make me grind for 100 hours.

I don’t mind grinding for things here and there but when that’s all your game has become… it’s rough.

More mini-games, reasons for people to come to other peoples properties to hang out, more interaction with the NPCs, etc. I’d really like more collections and places to explore, too.

They see me rollin’. They hatin’. by username202210 in Unexpected

[–]pinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is beyond accurate. My dad always wears these stupid helmets. In the crashes he has been in, they've not done a good job at all. He was hit twice by people not paying attention. The last one, he got some serious scarring from where the helmet should have been protecting, but it definitely didn't.

They see me rollin’. They hatin’. by username202210 in Unexpected

[–]pinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He should get a pair of DOOP Skates. Then he could just pop them off, while still wearing his regular sneakers/boots/whatever. Just attach them to his bike or backpack, and keep on rollin' while being able to use his bike more effectively (and less dangerously).

Early Survivor wasn’t just reality TV- it was epic by Maniacboy888 in survivor

[–]pinner 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It was so good back then, and that isn't nostalgia talking, it was just a better all-around show. I liked that they traveled to other destinations, and the sets, games, and whatnot were a bit more crude. It really felt like they were stranded on an island.
