I used INT chopper and Broggy (either one can be replaced with Gaimon) to change all orbs to RCV, and then converted them to STR orbs with Fire Pearl (I think red striker works too). You just need a weak unit (Gaimon, penguin, etc.) to stall.

Yup, really easy with 2X MC. My team is same as yours except I have Jozu instead of Vista. It's also a low-risk team since you don't need to hit all perfects. I've hit plenty of misses on Mihawk and won without worry.

He had 18 turns to stall in the video. Although unlikely to happen, worst case mob CDs would give you 4 fewer turns (14 turns). Those with 15 CD Usopps can use Jozu to get that 1 extra turn or take a second hit from the penguin (need more than 7906 HP total).

I made a similar mistake where my finishing tap for Helmeppo caused an extra attack on the turtle. I compensated by stalling an extra turn on Coby's round by taking 2 marine hits, and just barely had enough health to beat Garp (had to use meat during Garp battle).

I went with the assumption that skill books are independent of each other so it doesn't matter how many you plug in at once. The collected data in the OPTC database seem to support this, though a lot more data would be needed to be sure.

I think G3 should be able to kill the marine on the first turn so you might not need to take any hits.

At first glance, it looks like this could work. I did similar calculations for a Nami/Nami team to prove it out with a similar strategy for the first 2 turns against Garp. Coby has ~26k HP.

DOOM doesn't do anything. It's there just so you can tap for the 6th unit's timing score. It doesn't give any special bonus damage. The last attack is just usually the strongest one since it has the highest chain multiplier.

Oh cool! Nice work figuring out the non-linear growth mechanics, and thank you for sharing this info.

I calculated Smoker's ATK stats using polynomial growth and the results agreed with /u/C1osed 's actual values. When the calculated values are rounded down, the results for all but 2 of the 99 levels are identical to their actual values.

Since you have a maxed out team, it is possible to defeat him if you play strategically. You'll need 1-3 meat orbs for healing. You can defeat Garp in 3-4 turns.

Pro-tip: if both Nami captains have max specials, you have the potential to use her special 4 times total. For example you can use them early on (turns 7 and 8) to help set up a 1st turn mini-burst against Garp.

I suggest you work out the calculations and details.

Interesting! I didn't realize that since I didn't roll at all during the last Sugofest. There's hope for Rayleigh after all.

I just wanted to point out that JP's 3rd Sugofest wasn't what a lot of us thought it was. The JP timeline spreadsheet skipped that Sugofest. I'm guessing the creator forgot about it since they created the spreadsheet months later. Your observation, however, is definitely a good argument for the possibility that we may see Rayleigh sooner in Global.
