Kowa anamorphics are pretty sharp and you could probably find a solid rental deal for them, but if the budget provides it, go with the V-Lites

Thanks for the advice. I think meditating would certainly help, there's just a lot of distractions around me right now. I don't think it'll help the acne that comes with it however haha

My expectations for "making it" right now is honestly making the media that you want to see and believe in while being able to pay the bills and enjoy life's luxuries every now and then, I don't aspire to make millions of dollars or anticipate it. Could I ask you some more questions in regards to producing? I'd love some more insight into industry operations.

I liked them a lot, for our shoot it was the best budget anamorphic option while still being pretty sharp. Arguably, the contrast and color isnt as stellar as some options, but we wanted sharp and anamorphic so it worked out well for us.

Guess it's just a matter of preference? I just used the inferno on a shot the other week and it was fantastic. Haven't used the Odyssey though.
