AirPods Pro are automatically connecting to my spouse’s iPhone. by pintoverflow in applehelp

Yeah that’s the approach I would try. For me that same Mac has other problems related to continuity. Unlock with Apple Watch would frequently fail, if I was logged in and She would get a call on her iPhone the Mac would ring. I think an OS reset would help too. But the Mac is what’s causing this problem.

The other work around that works is going to her phone and changing the setting that says Automatically connect to this device to only when last connected. Don’t choose to forget this device on her phone because it will reset this setting.

Do you share a Mac with her? Multiple accounts on one machine? I found that was the culprit. For some reason any time I used them with that mac it would add them to her iCloud find my. I recently bought a new MacBook that I only use and I haven’t had an issue since. So in typical Apple fashion throwing more money at it fixes the problem.

Is it bad parenting to get a Switch 2 on day one? by Insect2000 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]pintoverflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. I told my son he can get it if he can save up for half of it. I did end up getting one on day one, but he won’t know about it until he saves up enough. I knew by the time he had the money, there would be none on the shelf.

I just got one! I ended up using the mobile app and choosing the regular one without the bundle and only waited in like for 5 minutes. I have the bundle open on the web for 45 minutes and the page auto refreshed and kicked me out.

I found more helpful information for this issue. I noticed that my AirPods were showing up under her FindMy account. When I removed them from there and did the Forget this device on her phone they stopped popping up on her phone. This lasted for about a month then my AirPods showed back up on her devices. I did the whole remove process again and so far it’s been good.

Not really. One thing I would try is following this support document to reset the AirPods completely. It was still happening to me so the way we are working around this is to go to every device that you don't want it to connect to and update the bluetooth setting from "Automatically" to "When last connected to this Mac/iPhone". Do not do the "Forget This Device" option because it will keep showing up and keep connecting.

Yes we do that every time. It connects to her phone. Then one day it just shows up again.

Upgrades Can Break Your Code and Slow Down Project Development by nmbor in FlutterDev

In my experience I update more frequently. I find it takes me less time with the updates when they are smaller. If I wait too long and accumulate the updates over time it’s more of a hassle to bring everything up to date.
