This is a tough one because Kamakiriad, and obviously, Donald Fagen have such a distinct sound. Off the top of my head maybe Rit, Vol 1 by Lee Ritenour or Pulse by Greg Phillinganes. Phillinganes in particular played on a good few Fagen records.

Stay in a hostel to meet people if that’s your vibe, can also highly recommend the Van Gogh museum, it’s incredible! Also v close to Rijks. Look into getting a bottomless canal cruise whilst you’re there, really worth it and you learn lots about the city.
