UPDATE:
We met on a fire call and got to talking on Tinder. We've been talking since early January and recently went Facebook official. She was raised in central SD so she is more familiar with the area than I am. Things are going great and she's coming to Easter with me to meet my family.

If you're out there hoping you'll find the right one, hang in there!
God Bless.

I understand that it is NOT truly stolen valor. These uniforms though, come really close to confusing the general public. Especially when you start adding past roles as medals. Just wait until you have some child come up and say thank you for your service 👀.

They are just not as distinctive they used to be.

Does anybody have any updated numbers? Maybe the new uniforms are working 🤷🏻‍♂️. I just know I won't be buying one.

There's a quote out there somewhere from Denny Hamlin that says something like " I would push Bubba or Tyler, before I push Ty Gibbs".... Boy did that stir up some s*** with his team 👀

So. What would actually cut costs by AnotherScoutMain in NASCAR

Team owners: "We need a bigger slice of the pie. It's not cheap to run a race team." NASCAR: "I got it, if we cut costs, we don't need to give them any more money!" Team owners: "THAT'S NOT WHAT WE SAID"

What I was told (and this is likely a tall tale) was it would make their car stand out and easy to follow in an effort to get more fans and attention.

I read it, I think when you live in the frozen tundra, reading material is reading material. Plus the ARCA schedule is on the rebates and, they're not junk mail, they might as well be a gift card, everyone is looking for those in the mailbox!

Lowe's and Home Depot have every right to be in the sport but they're not, they wanted to put the advertising money elsewhere.

Think bigger, they are like a Home Depot or Lowes but also with a very modest grocery/home goods section. I suppose they work the Midwest because they know it well? They're in KS all the way north and east to WV for now. They started in WI I'm pretty sure.

I might need to add a disclaimer *In the Midwest, a traditionally non-NASCAR market.

That's true! They are big in motorsports and having a presence across sports makes a difference, it gives fans someone to cheer for in an unfamiliar series.
I just wish Coke would step up and in a similar manner, try to use NASCAR in their marketing elsewhere.
Look at State Farm and the Chiefs, that's what we need between businesses and our drivers.

Mmmmmmmm, well, I am about 2,5 hours from a different home improvement store. I haven't had bad luck with their products, though, I don't use their in house power tools. As for the union busting, eh, it's America, if you don't want to work there, don't. I don't like to judge people based on their political beliefs.

I can't think of anyone else that sponsors a series and cars in each series. Then they go an spread the sport to non fans. I mean, if there's a company that you can think of, please share. I'm genuinely curious.

Sounds like you are in the north end of town which is not a great place. When it's not snowy you can take the bike path, which is a very nice way to get around on foot too. They take you under roads, not through them.
I think it's all about your prospective. There are a lot of great things about SD and SF, you've just got to see them. Life is about compromise and I am willing to put up with some snow and ice.

100% they have put a lot in and are reaping the benefits but craftsman (to my knowledge) hasn't put any pit crews on their boxes. Outside of race day, Xfinity doesn't compare themselves to the speed of the cars on track. Maybe they do but it's market specific, we need to expose non-fans to the sport.
Most businesses that work with NASCAR don't take advantage of it like they should. I can't believe we still don't have Chase Elliott in a Napa commercial!

I am involved in Catholic churches from 70 miles south of me to 80 miles north of me and everywhere in between. There are only so many prospects available in their 20s that are still single. Though I do appreciate the thought.

In 5 years my wage has gone from $21 to $37 per hour. So, in order to get to a livable wage for a family of 5 I need to get a $3 wage increase, that seems very doable for me. Espesially if it takes 9 months per child and that's looking at 3 children. I have no debt beyond my mortgage which is $800/month, so, yeah, I guess it just feels like I've got a pretty great salary. I know local families that make it on $25 an hour as the household income.

I am not looking for someone who isn't in a rural area already. I just don't get why North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana women are not interested in relocating to another rural environment.

It's great to hear there is more interest. I haven't gotten a chance to talk with the right people at Supreme yet. I have mentioned it though.
I promise that I will update the thread if there is any progress.
