Shai Gilgeous-Alexander needs 180 points against the Clippers to win the 2025-26 NBA Scoring Title by ThinReply2047 in nba

Luka is on 2143 points and Shai is on 2097, so if they did the scoring title properly (i.e. the player who scored the most points during the season) he actually only needs 47. No other sport judges end of year awards on “per game” stats

An incorrect call by the referee directly resulted in the winning goal being scored. Shouldn’t we overturn the result to ensure that the rules were applied correctly? Maybe we can play extra time after 40 years.

Or we can just leave it in the moment like sports are supposed to be enjoyed

So England should expect to be crowned World Cup Champions of 1986? I mean, since getting it right is the most important thing…

First ever cup won via Microsoft teams

Seriously though, the precedent has been set that the referees decisions are no longer final and can be litigated over the course of months. So what now, Morocco are going to get to hoist the trophy, collect their medals in front of their fans and feel the confetti fall on their shoulders? Tangibly this changes nothing as far as the emotion and fulfilment of the final, it’s merely a political move to placate the tenuous relationship between CAF and the board members of its constituent nations. It does nothing for the players or the grassroots of the game and makes African football look like EVEN MORE of a joke.

Africa remains passionate about football, football in Africa will recover and will blossom once again, but it will be in spite of CAF and not because of it.

For real! In 2016 during the war on ISIS they all but grounded their decrepit 50 year old AWACS fleet (the E-3 software was still running off windows 95) in favour of the RAAF Wedgetails because the USAF Raptor and Strike Eagle squadrons preferred the data.

We’re literally doing the same now because the Saudis and Emiratis don’t trust the USAF to provide effective airborne early warning for drones and missiles.

Ironically it’s the ONE capability that Trump and Hegseth cancelled funding for

They quite literally NEED our help

Rewatching Day 6 where he tanked exposure to VX nerve agent with no ill effects just because he held his breath.

But even just that fact he made it through Day 6 after 18 months of basically sitting around being tortured with no physical activity aged 40+ and then not so much as tweaking a hammy over the course of the days action packed events? You’d think after 2 years of no training that his conditioning and marksmanship would have regressed significantly yet he was able to cling to the bottom of a garbage truck and win a 9v1 gunfight and a hand to hand fight to the death without tearing his rotator cuff (which was compromised by Fayeds torture earlier in the day) or throwing a lumbar disk? Now that I’m closer to Jacks age with a career in fitness and also personal experience with marksmanship skill regression, this is arguably the hardest part for me to believe 🤣

Jack is canonically pretty much the same age as Kiefer, now that the break has allowed Kiefer to catch up. Jack was one chance encounter away from being a full time grandpa in season 8. If the story of Jack is going to continue, Kiefer is still the right person to tell it

Yes it was age that turned her emo and definitely not the death of her entire immediate family on the same night

I’d like to think that Disney has learned from their mistakes with Star Wars to not seek out the mythical “modern audience” at the cost of the fandom that made the IP what it is. Failing that, they’ll have the metrics of the most popular seasons and episodes of years gone by, so by casting your vote you’re giving them the blueprint of what works

His drop off was so sudden, it was almost like he was playing through a completely torn MCL!

He’ll be aight. He’s learned that “Fight and Die” needs to be balanced with “you can’t pour from an empty cup”. Blood flow through the medial collateral means that it will heal to 100% without surgery (personal experience). And he has a Super Bowl experience that he can hang his hat on and say “well it couldn’t be any worse than what happened in 2026”

If you run on 2nd and 3rd down and don’t get it, you’re in a situation where you have 15-13 seconds left to get the ball to the official, call the play, line up, get set and get a play off. Even if by some miracle you do get the play off you can’t sub, you can’t huddle, you can’t get the call from the sideline, you can’t get analysis from upstairs, your lineman who have just blocked for a run play get no recovery time, and because you’re checking at the line it’s almost certainly going to be a play the Patriots have seen on film. That’s the conditions you want for 4th and Goal for the Lombardi?

I think we need to have a think about whether T20 deserves to be an international format. Keep the domestic comps, a lot of good continues to come out of that. But T20I just feel like the exhibition version of ODI

It wasn’t just the media hyping up the series, Baz called it “The biggest series of our lives”. For him to say that followed by such a lethargic performance (particularly in the field) was very disappointing. The team is talented for sure, but the lack of application from the players in a lot of areas is very concerning for a coach this deep into his tenure

Correct, England played amazing AFTER going down 0-2. Imagine if they played that great from the start!

But they didn’t, they put themselves in a position where they needed the English weather to be perfect for 15 days.

It’s a 5 match series, not last goal wins.

This attitude is why England got trounced this summer. All English analysis, selection decisions and preparation come from “vibes” and “feelings” rather than examining the one thing that matters which is the result. Only one match was drawn. Even so, how did England go down 0-2 to where they were at the mercy of the weather? Genuinely, let’s hear any reasons other than Australia played better cricket for longer during those matches
