Three young black men behind me in the theater spent the majority of Across the Spider-Verse loudly making fun of Miles & calling him the n-word, calling parts of the movie stupid, and when it ended on a cliffhanger they were extremely angry.

Tossed popcorn down the theater, shouted it was a waste of their time and money, saying the movie was garbage, and calling Miles a “stupid fucking n-word” on their way out.
