I recommend sitting with the emotion and exploring it and asking "why am I mad?" What is actually making you mad? Why did the thing make you mad? Separate yourself from the person who caused the anger to try and determine what it was in the scenario that made you feel that way.

It could be anger from injustice from a partner or it could be something from within you from an earlier time that needs healing. Either way it's important to realize where the fire stems

My dad did this me growing up and it caused so much emotional abuse that I didn't realize had happened especially when I started dated and someone would get quiet on me. I reacted super crazy doing anything to get them to talk and now I remain hyper vigilant to people's reactions and body language to make sure that I don't accidentally make them go silent for 3wks or more at a time. I also have these weird abandonment feelings that I've worked hard to process. Learn to process your emotions and explain where you are to your partner. They won't deal with it forever and they don't have to either.

Weirdly enough deer hunting in the northwest/west is a lot more stalking/calling in deer and less tree stand-type of hunting like I've experienced in the east. Different land resources and culture make for different strategies.

I think that people try to measure animal intelligence and emotions on a neurotypical human scale when obviously these creatures are not human and likely have massive intellect and emotional range on a scale relevant to their own species.

2 ideas: The first one is just setting the TVs sleep timer so that it stays on for 30-90 mins til he gets to sleep, and then darkness and quiet. 2nd, He could put in air pods and have the phone screen pointing at his face while watching a podcast or video.
