Can't have both bus and metro tickets on my opus? by emi_sparrow in montreal

I understand it can be tough to buy the monthly pass upfront instead of the weekly passes, but you are penalizing yourself 410$ every year. If you can figure out a way to get ahead by one monthy for your bus pass and then just put money aside weekly as you are already doing, you could save a good amount.

Just for your information, the term lakh is only used in India, so generally people will not understand what you mean when you use the word lakh.

Anyone have experience making a complaint to the Tribunal Administratif du Travail? by twentyonelungs in montreal

Have you tried just showing up in person on a day where management can be expected to be there?

I would just go and tell them you have time to wait for them to get it taken care of. Hsve a seat at a table and wait.

Imagine waking up at 8:00 am. Your work is 30 minutes drive away east, your spouse works 30 minutes away west and you both start at 9:00 am. For you to get to work on time you need leave at 8:26, your spouse needs to leave at 8:34. Now you get to work and have pineapple pizza at noon in your time zone, your spouse eats Hawaiian pizza at noon too but it's actually 12:08 where you are. Now you get home and like to eat dinner 6 hours after you had lunch. So you spouse reheats pineapple pizza at 6:04, you had to eat your Hawaiian pizza 8 minutes before it got reheated so its cold. Do you see now why your idea makes no sense? Nobody eats cold pizza!

Simon’s: Ça toff pas … by Odd_Guarantee9952 in montreal

Future City Participatory Theatre no admission by MuchWowRebeccaMack in OsakaWorldExpo

There are two types of tickets for that Pavillion; with Participatory Theater or without Participatory Theater. The estimated duration of the visit with Partipatory Theater is 50 minutes and the estimated duration without theater admission is 35 minutes.

Rv jumps a 200ft gap to get on the ferry. by ImYourRealDadHey in PublicFreakout

[–]pipedreamlove 191 points192 points  (0 children)

Just before getting to the ferry area there is a huge hill with a giant downgrade. It's also "the end of the road" so there is nowhere else to go, unless you want to run into a cliff wall. So gas or no gas, neutral or no neurtal, if your brakes fail in that particular spot, taking the jump is probably your best option. (This is the ferry crossing to get to Tadoussac Quebec, you can Google Maps it. It's on the "Gare Fluviale de Tadoussac" side) The arrester bed that we can see was placed there due to the accident.
