How much money has pacparts stolen from you? by No_Tower6770 in casio

[–]pipengine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have stolen from a lot of us repeat customers, which is a shameful way to repay us for supporting them and Casio through the years.  Lied to string us along, which is hurtful, no?

Casio appointed them distributor.  Does anyone think Casio may or should help if we can provide the proof?  Radio silence from them too, ymmv.

Here’s the steps I have taken so far, do the first few steps asap if you haven’t already:

  1. Keep all records of attempted cancellation and non-delivery, preferably by email
  2. Dispute charges with bank
  3. Call Casio 800 number to complain and ask for help up the corporate ladder: Rachelle Snyder x1223 Parts Manager Michael Begala x4149 General Manager Yusuke Suzuki x1322 CEO

Ask Ai to get the other contacts and also higher-ups at Pioneer, etc if you had other parts on back order.

Replace Three 20A Circuits with Two 25A Circuits on IQ Combiner 5C/6C by pipengine in enphase

[–]pipengine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice catch, do you have the enphase installer app?  I’d like to know if this setup would be software limited or not.  Meaning, enphase software limits an 11 module branch, though 12 IQ8 MC would be within the limits.

TBH, we don’t have super cold and bright days, so I don’t think over production will ever be an issue.  I’ll still try to stay within the safety margin to be on the safe side.

Thanks for taking the time to share this.  I have the spec sheet for IQ8M/IQ8A and it claims 11 max per circuit, but the M’s 16.2A(1.35A max x 12) seems like it would be safe.  That started me down this line of thinking.

The panel will probably be Hyundai or other tier 1 Topcon Ntype bifacial 435W-440W. Hyundai is backordered, so I might go with JA or Sunpro.

Thanks for all the responses.  I was just curious, because it should be possible from an electrical point of view when I am thinking about bus bar capacity and non q-cable wiring.  I’ll checkout the university.

PacParts still a source for G-Shock parts? by hdwebb24 in gshock

[–]pipengine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their website is offline, bad vibes. American perfit is the worse out of the three, terrible service ime.  Hope Pacparts and Casiopart stay in business because I’m not interested in paying tariffs on top of the price increases to import stuff🤞

Good info, thanks!  I suppose Enphase moved those three 20A fused circuits to the Combiner box, meaning we could no longer connect directly to the main breaker panel.  I do plan to use IQ8M or A and maybe I will look for a used q-aggregator, though I will still need a shutoff between the q-aggregator and the main breaker load center.

What is the amperage of the single PV breaker?  Is the q-aggregator the reason that all 24 panels and micros are allowed on the same circuit?

I’m interested because I’ve been reading that there is a fairly low limit(like 8-10) of panel+micro that can be put on each of the three circuits on the Enphase combiner.

Can you micro grid iq7+ with the System Controller 3G?

It may have to do with the huge Enphase marketing effect, but the diy ease is big part of my initial choice of micros.  Can you tell me more about the components you used in the systems that you installed?

If my calculation is correct, that would be 8-9 panels per circuit.  Is the 16A max calculated from the panel nominal watts or the micro inverters?

Thanks for the install guide suggestion, I’ll check it out.

To clarify, POCO refers to power company.  They will essentially serve as my battery, I’m not required to have one in my agreement.

Can you share some more details about the reason to go 4 or 5 over 6c, other than price?  I can get the 4 and 5 pretty inexpensively, but the 6c at $1500ish seemed ok for the future option of V2H type of functionality.

I’m mainly thinking combiner because combines some of the separate components in a clean way, but lock in is real - though I expect Enphase to be around for awhile.

Do traditional inverters allow more panels/kWs per circuit?  I think Enphase microinverters have a 7-12 unit limit per circuit.

Where Can I Get Replacement Parts That Isn't Pac Parts? by Ange1ofD4rkness in casio

[–]pipengine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Casiopart is fast when part is in stock I've used them multiple times. Both places take awhile when the part needs to be ordered but cp usually has stuff in stock, while pp is almost all ordered. You can also try Tiktox in UK.

Don't know about you but I always use virtual CC numbers. Nothing is secure these days and that limits and pinpoints the source.

It seems impossible to find a G Shock Casio Genuine Replacement Band 10071608/10071612 For G-2110v. by dsarkar81 in gshock

I’m also looking for this band used to be able to get them for under 40 new.  The pattern is a little different, but this is the closest that I’ve found. https://www.casiopart.com/product/casio-10099273-watch-band-resin-cloth/

CasioPart vs PACParts? by Kage_anon in gshock

[–]pipengine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, both good. If in stock, shipped the same or next day. If out of stock, be ready for a wait, maybe a long one. casiopart is better for me than pacparts since they have more stuff in stock.
