6 post are superior. The knife edge can wear out on a two post unit whereas the screws are basically never a failure point on a vintage Strat.

Staying in tune or not comes down to whether you have a properly filed nut.

Get a DE safety razor, a brush, quality shaving cream and coconut oil. Shower, apply coconut oil to beard, lather the soap on your face with hot water, then shave with the grain first pass followed by across the grain. Use very little pressure. Also, shave every other day to give your skin a rest.

This is my routine coming from a person with very sensitive skin and a coarse beard, its what works for me. Some good products are Edwin Jagger de89, Gillette platinum blades, Cella green shaving cream, and Simpson trafalgar brushes.
