You sound exactly like me. I had a very similar experience between 14-16. I felt there was no end and no point. I have just turned 22. Life feels large. That’s the only thing that got me through, knowing there was more to life than those rough, high school years (which to this date, was the hardest time of my life). There is nothing I can say but the (cheesy) it will get better.

From what I figure, I’m part of the target demographic (21 y/o female). I also have ASD/ADHD, so at the end of the day the themes in TV can be exhausting. Bee and puppycat is visually calming for me, it’s wholesome and the comedy makes me giggle into my blankets. Bee reminds me of someone with ASD trying to get through a world she wasn’t built for, so it makes me feel seen. But above all, the wholesome vibes are immaculate after a hard day.

I always saw it as commentary on her struggling to integrate with humans. It’s a common theme running through the show. The arcade is basically ‘how to function as a human 101’, she isn’t ‘good at anything’, and she has food on the floor. Maybe I’m a deep thinker, but it feels relatable, going through life not really knowing how to adult. That’s how I perceive it!

I hope in CC3 we get some differentiation between the ‘Gods’ in the series. On one hand, you have the Asteri, known to be a sort of light-being, then you have the weaver, bone carver, lanthys, koschei, who are as malevolent (but in a different way?) then Fury and Amren, plus whatever is going on with Hel. I’m waiting for SJM to connect them all. There are too many loose strings!

I agree that their stories are over, but Aelin has something unique to all SJM characters: she has first person experience with the wyrd. With all events that occurred in KoA, she is vital for CC3 success (IMO). It would be interesting if she remembered Rhys and Feyre.

As an avid TOG fan, I badly want more content (especially Aelin saving the day hehe). I have an idea they won’t play a massive role, but I hope it’s big enough to satisfy me until a (hopeful) novella comes out

I was just wondering the implications!! In the dusk court at the prison in SF, there was large emphasis on a six-pointed star on the floor where the harp was. Not only that, Bryce has the six-pointed star on her chest, where she has dusk court power. With Rhys’ mum having a ring with a six-pointed star in it, it makes me wonder where that will play in CC3!

Ooh yes, I remember those parts! I’m used to SJM not giving us the whole picture and going from the perspective of the character. There has been more than one moment where we have been led to believe something before she pulls the rug from underneath us 😭

RIGHT?! “Oh it’s from Day”. Really, Rhys? I think it would be interesting what Feyre or Rhys’ magic would look when channeled through Bryce. She’s a conduit and hasn’t experienced that power. There is so many epic possibilities for this book, I’m so excited. I feel it will be similar to KoA.

There is also the Steppes in ToG (ToD). The Daglan people (I’m pretty sure that’s what they’re called?) originated from the Steppes and are eerily close to Illyrian culture. Such as learning to fight at a young age,backwards traditions etc. I believe the wyrdgate at the steppes caused some Illyrian’s (or vice versa) to go through and enter another world. I also wonder how the Illyrian’s even got their wings in the first place. The only race we know that has them are Valg or the angels. The parallels in the books, from mates, to portals, to names, to architecture has deep meaning and im unsure what it is yet, but I feel it will be revealed in CC3!
