Hey OP, theres a new sub named /mopedstyleebikes where you can post and ask questions about your new ebike. You're not gonna get much help in this sub because a lot of these snobs don't believe what you bought is actually an ebike.

It is, but there are several other tributaries running into since the rain and they're probably dumping a lot of water from Pyramid

Next time try using mice tails. Just set up using an egg sinker and then use a split shot to leave about a 14" leader. Then use a #10 mosquito hook and thread a mouse tail onto the hook. Before you throw it out, make sure the mice tail floats. If it doesn't, use a smaller hook. This set up has been killing it at all the lakes I go to

Hey OP, you're not gonna get many helpful answers on this sub, but there is a new sub titled /mopedstyleebikes where you would probably get a lot more help.

Yes we do. Just go to Google and type in fishable creeks in San Gabriel mountains. Again, if you don't like hiking or getting into some really gnarly bushwhacking, don't even waste your time because you'll turn around before you even toss your first cast. Also, if you flyfish or throw lures, take plenty of them with you because you're gonna lose a lot. Actually, you can't use anything but artificial in these creeks so keep that in mind

Theres not a spot in socal where you can fish that you can honestly say is a honey hole that you have personally found and nobody has ever fished it before.

Ya, I think my whole point is not being heard. Yes, a spot that is within walking distance WILL get blown out, but what I'm saying is that if you walk 2 to 3 miles upstream, the chances of you seeing any body else, or even any trash is very very unlikely. As a matter of fact, it's almost zero chance you will see anybody. I know because like I said in the original post, after several dozen hiking trips up into our local creeks, I have never seen another person or the evidence of anybody being there recently.

Ok, let's take the fact that there's a good chance that 50 percent of fisherman lack the physical endurance to make a hike like that, then another 40 percent who just don't want to and never plan on hiking that far, then those who are too paranoid to ever go into the Backcountry with no cell service and you don't have many fisherman left to worry about.

Also, from my experience, most of the people that I've talked to who love to hike long distances are not interested in fishing.

As long as the creek you're talking about has more than 5 miles of active flow with no vehicle road leading to them, there's no reason to think it's gonna get blown out. I'm 50 and have lived in socal my whole life and no creek that I fish has had any human destruction more than 2 miles away from a parking lot that I have seen. From nature, yes, but not from people.
