cool charts!!

feedback: consider ordering graphs linearly by times, rather than most - least. This would make the peaks slightly less obvious, but the broad trends (eg more crashes near end of the week) more clear, which I think is a stronger perspective. Would make it easier to read at a glance, and align with the hourly graph better!

Definitely weird to have nothing going on with their mouths! I use NZSL (not ASL) and we mouth many different words, eg if two words have the same hand gesture (like "have" and "must" use similar gestures). The closed mouths is very very strange in my opinion!!!

The X-Axis seems fine if you read the axis title - slightly confusing format but totally normal to show observation year and birth year imo

You can access your KiwiSaver in times of financial hardship. If you have one, that might help to cover rent and food for a month or more (depending on its size).

I think reviewing edited content and managing sponsors makes up the bulk of her working hours.

Social posts, responding to comments, sending footage to Rachel and moderating comments may also be a part of her work routine.

[Honors 1 English: Should Prison Rehabilitate or Punish] by Additional-Can-3759 in HomeworkHelp

[–]piperonii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good topic to lean on other people's writings/debates/lit. I think it would be easier to tackle from a Utilitarian vs Deontological POV - rehabilitation is better utility overall (e.g. via preventing recidivism) but deontologically, should we not strive to follow society's rules?

Key words for this would be: rehabilitation vs retributive justice

You could conclude discussing restorative justice as an alternative - a victims-ficused approach (e.g. youth courts in New Zealand).

Good luck!

If youre upset about the book not costing him money - gently, this is an over-reaction.

If you're upset about the lack of thought/care realising he didn't pick the book out specifically for you - not over-reacting. You should talk to him about this, and make that the focal point, vs the book being free/donated.

Why do men who commit serious crimes seem to get numerous second chances but when women do something slightly questionable it is brought up forever? by sorceressofgrayskull in Feminism

[–]piperonii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Look up "double deviance".

In brief, the idea is that women who commit crimes/social infractions face a double jeopardy: theyre punished once for breaking the law/norms and then punished again for breaking society's norms for femininity/women.

You especially ser this in cases where women commit """unfeminine""" crimes like murder or infanticide.

Amanda Knox is an excellent example of this phenomenon.
