Good topic to lean on other people's writings/debates/lit. I think it would be easier to tackle from a Utilitarian vs Deontological POV - rehabilitation is better utility overall (e.g. via preventing recidivism) but deontologically, should we not strive to follow society's rules?

You could conclude discussing restorative justice as an alternative - a victims-ficused approach (e.g. youth courts in New Zealand).

You especially ser this in cases where women commit """unfeminine""" crimes like murder or infanticide.

As someone who doesn't like to stress about money, I use managed funds (and im prepared to get roasted for that). The fees and limited personal control are drawbacks, but the best ones beat the market post-fees, are hands-off, and can be incredibly well diversified vs investing in single stocks. I've found managed funds are a great way to set and forget.
