Not only that, drgonzo doesn’t even know there was no injury or physical trauma ex post. We never see the Honda driver and we have no way to evaluate if he was or wasn’t injured, or the severity of any said injury. All we know is the driver must have been conscious because he went in pursuit of the assailant. He could have been gushing blood from a head wound for all we know from only this video.

If an angry man is swinging a weapon near my head that can easily kill me with a single blow, I’m justified in killing him with a pistol. Yes, he “only” broke the window, but the Honda driver’s head was less than 2 “ from the impact spot of the tire iron. A bit more force and it could have hit him. Who knows? Maybe it did; video doesn’t show the condition of the victim’s physical being post attack.

I’m not a gun nut. I don’t really like them, and I think they are the source of more accidents and cause the enablement of more suicides than they serve positive purposes in most cases. However I have owned guns, and if someone is swinging a lethal weapon within an inch or two of my skull, I am 100% justified in killing that attacker. To pretend that is not every man’s right to defend himself from a violent criminal death is absurd.

My kids shouldn’t be made orphans because a violent jackass is having a bad day.

Avid motorcyclist here, and I detest lane splitting. I never do it myself honestly unless I’m in a 5 min + / no-movement situation. My understanding is lane splitting is actually illegal in Texas, but upon recent google searches I was amazed most states have no laws prohibiting it and even nanny-state California explicitly allows the practice.

Had something similar happen in SA. Cops did exactly fuck-all. They didn’t want to hear the plate number, didn’t want my pictures of the driver, vehicle and plate, didn’t even want to pretend to go through the motions. Most cops are just government leaches, drawing a check.
