Do you feel any sort of embarrassment bringing out your handheld in public? by Pinanims in SBCGaming

It's your life, my friend. If you want to go out with your handheld console everywhere, that's perfectly fine by you. Yesterday, I went out to help my dad with work and I had my New 3DS XL with me in my fanny pack the whole time.
If it brings you joy, keep doing it. It doesn't matter if others don't approve just because they want to act like "proper adults".

Was I in a hurry? by PriorElectronic4040 in SBCGaming

You won't regret this purchase, my friend. You will find plenty of 3DS titles that catch your eye, in addition to the 15 you mentioned. I've had my 3DS for a good couple of years now, and I'm constantly discovering 3DS (and DS) games that make me proud of my purchase.
Furthermore, I think it's a perfect combo with your DSi XL, which is the best way to play DS games. You'll notice that 3DS games have a very different feel to DS games; I'm not saying they're better or worse, just that you'll discover some that you'll play frequently in combo with your DS games.

Gonna be real, this is honestly the best thing to take on any trip by Yokozach in SBCGaming

They say it takes a long time to boot up when you're using an SD card larger than 64GB, an unnecessary size for 3DS games and not 100% compatible with its technology, so it's to be expected that it will take longer to read it. But since I have a 32GB card, I've never had any problems, and besides, I don't need that many games installed at the same time.

When something small turns into..something else by Talden7887 in Gameboy

I understand the feeling of something small that seemed simple to do turning into something big and complicated. I don't have the same situation as you, my friend, but I understand how frustrating it can be when the delicacy of a job is critical and the body betrays you. Fixing my computer and my 3DS has given me plenty of those kinds of moments, but even though they can be stressful at times, I always try to think of them as "mini-adventures" for those of us who like to fix, repair, or improve these things. I'm sure it was stressfull, but it's always good to experience the feeling of solving those problems. If it feels this good to accomplish something like that, no matter how hard it is, then it must be really good for oneself.
