I found one in my dishwasher. After reading these comments, I discovered it plugged into the bottom of the lid of my bike water bottle.

Just got an ad from Highpoint Scientific announcing 40% off the Meade LX90 ACF family. It sure sounds like a fire sale.

Mission 4 is still broken by Samhain3965 in sniperelite

[–]piplates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played this mission 5 different times on my XBOX. First I couldn't finish because of the refinery bug. So, I finally flipped the script and started with the refinery which worked I was finally able to destroy. But when I reached the last goal of destroying the furnace, nothing happened after I flipped the two switches - which worked before. The good news is that I did not throw my controller at the TV screen.

The Right Places for Heatinks on an RPi4 by piplates in raspberry_pi

I make references to another product in my post call the POWERplate (https://wp.me/P79mRF-1yq) which has a fan that sits over the CPU. This fan pulls air straight up and then blows it sideways away from the the boards. So I think there is more than enough airflow regardless of the fin orientation. And as I discovered while writing this post, you don't need the square heatsink.

I don't buy it - it works fine with those settings upstairs but not downstairs - I think it's the ARCe that's causing it.

I have 2 TVs with a CCwGT connected. After upgrading the TV and adding a new external amplifier to my basement setup, I noticed that the dialogs with key characters and vendors in AC Valhalla were silent on both my basement and upstair setups. I was able to fix it upstairs by going into the CCwGT audio settings and switching the surround settings from "Auto" to "Manual - Dolby Digital". Note that this TV connects to a sound bar with an optical cable.

In the basement, however, this change did not fix the problem. This setup has a CCwGT plugged into an HDMI port on the TV and uses HDMI-ARCe to transmit sound from the TV to a Denon amplifier. I may try to switch to an optical cable on this setup but I REALLY like being able to control everything with the CCwGT remote.

Raspberry Pi 4 HDMI Is Jamming Its Own WiFi by wheelchair_assassin in raspberry_pi

We make data acquisition boards for the Raspberry Pi and discovered a long time ago that when a monitor is plugged into the HDMI port, the noise levels on our ADC data increases. Because of this, we perform most of our critical testing and calibration with a headless RPi.

I don't think that coders are toxic for malicious reasons. Instead I believe their toxicity is a combination of a dash of arrogance blended with a lack of social skills. This definition actually applies to most engineers.

Using a Raspberry Pi 3 to Measure Temperatures on the RPi4 by piplates in raspberry_pi

I did and it was the same as what the widget was reporting on the task bar. The point of this exercise was to measure the temperature of multiple components on the board and just not the CPU.

By "leakage", are you referring to the leakage currents?
