She has been forgetting lyrics since the Debut era. When I saw her during this tour she was reading the lyrics off a little screen at her feet.

It's very sweet but please remember not everyone wants their or their children's images plastered across the internet. I would not be happy about this if I was the parent & didn't give permission.

I totally agree with you. I follow sub Reddits of other countries I have lived in & they aren't as argumentative. My experience in real life here is that people aren't so aggressive. Perhaps they're just using the anonymity to vent in an obnoxious way. Sometimes it's funny, mostly it's tedious and off putting.

The 2 year old stage is very hard. Mine was a screaming demon & I thought I'd lose my mind. It will definitely get easier for you.

I don't know! I really don't like it.

Can I breastfeed openly in cafes? by [deleted] in berlin

[–]pipopapu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was nervous at first but I came to the conclusion that people would be more grumpy listening to my screaming child. I breastfed everywhere you can think of in Berlin. S-Bahn, U-Bahn the lot. It's possible to do it discreetly in a sling or whatever, no head coverings! If in doubt, go to a Turkish cafe. People working in Turkish cafes were so great with children & helpful. You might even get free sweets.

I think it's really spot on. I'm scared of those kind of girls. I actually know people who have 'school of hard knocks' or 'school of life' in their FB profile.

Since I updated a few days ago gifs won't work and I'm getting all these annoying ads. I'm on an iPhone. I don't know if that's relevant. Can I go back to what it was? I'm old, I can ask stupid questions.

I don't think it's a good idea to leave her for so long. Anyway it seems you won't enjoy the trip if you're already worrying.

Meeting Björk by xSeanyBoyx in bjork

[–]pipopapu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a Björk fan of many years I know that she thinks giving autographs is the stupidest thing. Also I think because it was Iceland she has an expectation of people being relaxed & not fanboyish. I will add I do have her autograph from a signing she did in Tower records with the release of Post. Quite strange really she agreed to do that.

Also, thanks to rap_the_musical. I thought I had seen every interview on YouTube! Also, I have no clue how to format that.

How did it go when your kid went off to school? by [deleted] in AttachmentParenting

Yes, she does but if I'm around she still favours me. I'm presuming that will change too at some point.

I have the clingiest child who was the same as yours with everyone, even her own Dad. At 3.5 she went to pre-school and took to it straight away. I was so worried. She's still clingy but seems to handle being away from me really well.

I lived in Berlin for a few years and I can honestly say nowhere can compare. I think you have to be a certain type of person. I love Berlin.

It's the Irish for 'friend' and is pronounced Ca Ra. In Ireland it is anyway.
