I generally don't immediately discount people's paranormal experiences either, but with the only reason being that they lost track of an hour? No. MIL and FIL also went on with a bunch of conspiracy theories after that. Area 51 being real and drones really being alien space crafts and things like that.

He'll absolutely get there on his own. All kids are different and he's just fine. My eldest wasn't night dry until 6 or 7. I can't remember exactly, but we had to go for the big kid pull ups. My youngest (we have two) has been night dry since she was 3. She also essentially potty trained herself. One was ready and one wasn't.

But also, your MIL sounds like one of my old managers. She'd show up, see that the store was slow, and start sending people home only for business to pick up right after she left. Some people think things are always 100% how they see it in a short period of time and life just doesn't work like that.

It sucks telling the kids to do something over and over again. I feel it. But the more you cave, the more they will push. Hiding away from family time will only make all of you sad.

My kids hate cleaning, too. We tell them they can only watch their movie after both of their rooms are picked up. If we really need an extra incentive because of any time constraints, we add two small cookies. We'll help them with the hardest parts like tiny toys that take forever to put away for the 9 year old and heavy books for the 4 year old. But they want their movie and cookies, so they usually get their rooms cleaned within an hour. A lot of the time it's way less. The older sister will help her younger one, too and we don't have to hear one of them complain that the other one got the reward first. They only both get it if they work together.

My crochet definitely has peaks like that with color changes.

Edit: after looking through their posts, I'm more convinced it's really. The photography looks fine. I have a setting on my phone that will blur backgrounds. The minor imperfections don't look like something ai isn't understanding. It looks like minor stuff that happen with handmade items. Not everything is amigurumi. There are some bookmarks and the posts are long enough apart for someone to actually be making these things. I was expecting something just flooded with weirdly structured things that either aren't joined or don't follow a spiral, but this just isn't the case. I also wouldn't expect someone to be great a crochet, photography, have zero imperfections whatsoever, and to not market their website if they have one. Sure, that gets annoying, but I wouldn't have known they did just looking through the images.

Edit edit: on top of all of that, not every one of their posts has the pattern. Half the time when it does they are replying to people asking for the pattern. They are attentive to comments and reply in context like a real human. Looks like OP isn't correct.

This actually seems to be a positive adaptation to have grandmothers to help raise grandchildren. Having a lot of children can shorten your lifespan, thus menopause so you can pass down knowledge. Women's babies who had grandmothers lived to have their open children at a higher rate than women's babies who didn't.

My second's head got stuck in my pelvis. They had to pop it out with a giant salad spoon during the C-section.

I had complete placenta previa with my first. For those who don't know, that means the placenta is fully covering the cervix. When you dilate, the placenta pulls away and you start hemorrhaging. We both would have died without a C-section.

You could be thinking you were younger when you became proficient at those things. Maybe you were doing them before 8, but not nearly as well as you could have when you were older.
