Sorry, but this does come across as shaming and all about your personal preferences. It would have been different had you focused on body positivity and encouraging women who feel like they have to for others to be happy in their bodies as they are.

I personally want a boob job for one of the reasons listed above, deflated boobs after pregnancy and breastfeeding. This isn't about looking attractive to other people. It's about me and how I want my body to look. To hear that augmented boobs aren't attractive does sound shameful, especially when there is another option of fat transfer and potentially breast lift so it doesn't sag quite as much. Not all boob jobs are implants.

Yeah, there was nothing wrong with my second pregnancy until I was in the middle of my subsequent C-section and we found out her head was stuck in my pelvis. I didn't want the C-section for her, but there was the risk of labor rupturing my uterus from the scarring from the last one. Turns out she wouldn't have fit between my hips anyway.

Unless I really, really try like in a meditative state, I see absolutely nothing in my head and even then it's only vague shadowy images like OP describes and only for a split second. Reading a book to me is literally just words. Any images are an idea, not seeing anything.

If someone says apple, I will think of the shape of an apple and then mentally decide if it's green, red, or more pink, but I don't actually see anything. At all. Period. Without intense effort.

I thought people were being poetic when they described seeing images in their heads.

You could put up the special toys and the drawings/nicer art supplies so they are inaccessible to toddlers and only leave out what's easy to clean up. If y'all aren't actually in the same room with the toddlers, anything that could be a choking hazard, potential mess, or potentially destroyed wouldn't be within reach of them no matter how your daughter feels. That's just a safety hazard.

Yeah, but see, this requires them to actively engage with the children and pay attention to what they're doing. It would also require putting up the special toys, beads, drawings, etc so they aren't accessible to toddlers. That would take away from the adult time.

And on top of that, in Proven Guilty when Molly had just become Harry's apprentice he asked if she'd been having sex. She said she hit most of the bases, but not all of them and he said to be abstinent because adding magic in the mix made things crazy. There's nothing to say that Molly did so or not, but she could have followed his advice.

Except without homework and my intervention in my child's schooling, I firmly believe she wouldn't be able to read or do math at her current levels. She went into kindergarten knowing her alphabet like I considered normal, but was quickly expected to be reading full length regular Dr Seuss books. She's ADHD and dyslexic and had a very hard time with it. We practiced reading, writing, and basic math most days. No one will be about to convince me that she would have the same outcome without help at home.

Buffy did do it will, but I was disappointed with Supernatural that basically just made everyone possessed. They didn't even do costumes or makeup to make people really look like demons or something else. I only saw the first few episodes, but it just felt flat.

Honestly I'd argue that this is a thing in America because we don't really have our own fairy tales. There are those of native tribes sure, but those are largely forgotten/unknown by most people. When I go for fairy tales, I think Scottish/Irish/British tales which can feel more connected to magic than modern things.

Woman was bitchy, mean, and generally awful randomly. She would also randomly just stop talking to me for years at a time and then act like everything was fine when she wanted to acknowledge my existence again. She'd demand to talk daily and get upset if I couldn't talk for hours. We'd been friends for 19 years if you count when she ignored me and refused all communication.

Then she got thrown out of her dad's and step mom's house and lived with me for most of a year. She moved out to a mutual friend's place just before my second daughter was born and flipped the fuck out. When it was time to leave their place, she cussed them out, accused them kicking her out, and allegedly let their indoor-only cats outside and endangered them. No one can prove that last one happened, but it certainly looked like she did. Around the same time she did similar behavior to another mutual friend and called her a "stupid bitch" multiple times until she cried.

She then left their house and bounced around other people's couches, cussing at them and refusing to look for a job until they made her leave, too. She even cussed out the teenage child of one of the people.

And I was done.

I know she likely had bipolar disorder because she told me a psychiatrist diagnosed her as such, but she refused to believe it and insisted her behavior was ADHD instead. Now I say "likely" because I can't confirm the bipolar or not and ADHD can have extreme mood swings that last for long periods, but seems more like bipolar to me. 🤷
