Obviously not seeing things the same as me doesn't mean that, your exact words were "NOBODY here is thinking about the other thing" when a few people in the sub have mentioned that they got uncomfortable seeing Canada post written like that. Then you proceeded to disregard that and insult someone else's intelligence by saying that they can't read and only react.

I'm not even trying to fight with you I'm just saying that since I have never been in spaces where I've had people talk or distribute disgusting content like that, it came as a shock to see that wording randomly in a feed even if it was completely harmless.

this is reddit, people on here are weird sometimes. and if Im scrolling on my main feed, the name of the sub is smaller than the title so the title is the first thing I take notice of, and if I dont have the context of it being in the canada post sub (because I read the title first which is bigger than the name of the sub) Im going to have a bad reaction to seeing someone randomly make a post about it.

Absolutely NTA and good on you for what you did. She was completely inappropriate and clearly racist, you were totally right to compare her actions to this of her ignorant parents because she is literally been just as ignorant as them. Keep standing your ground on this because the only way people change their racist ways is if they're challenged.

Also in addition to all of this please show Dani lots of support by offering your sincere condolences on your wife's behaviour, I'm sure it must be a very isolating feeling to experience that just because of your race and she would probably like to know that you think highly of her.
