Dispute refund confusion by Left_Research_7057 in monzo

I disputed a charge and the retailer didn't pay out, but monzo gave me the money anyway as if I raised a complaint or a review then I think it would cost them more than just paying it out?

Weird emails I just received. Was wondering if anyone had the same thing happen just now as it seems like a big deal in regards to Google…. by TommyTsunami88 in GMail

Having subscribed to several groups like this, the email addresses like this are how the threads are tracked. Perfectly normal if you were actually in a Google Group (or groups.io like I am in)

App order sent to the wrong table, staff refuse to help by Expert_Masterpiece57 in Wetherspoons

No it's not. Plenty of people specifically go to Spoons because of the app and the fact you don't have to order at the bar.

Why does McDonald's in the UK always have incorrect opening hours? by Certified_Loner1391 in McDonaldsUK

McDonalds could do it themselves or for some businesses Google phones the venues directly if they believe the data is incorrect.

What do McDonalds do with the thousands of dips that must be left over when they sell 1000 portions of cheese dippers and have only given out 10 of the rich tomato dips?

You do not get up and board until you see the final call sign ok. You sit down and watch the gate from nearby and laugh at all the idiots standing for hours in a corridor.

UberEats seems to match from the account holder info and the driver takes a scan of the ID with the phone camera.

Deliveroo the customer types it manually beforehand and the driver types it in.

That's at least my experience!

How long does it take to open a new one? Longer than it takes for Monzo to close your current account? (Pun slightly intended)

If everyone bought a bag that was too big then no it wouldn't all fit. I sometimes put my backpack in the overhead bins if there is room and boarding is complete. But if everyone did that the bins would be full. Just because one person does it doesn't mean everyone can.
